Welp starting to think my order is in fact getting delayed due to my payment issue on Monday. Still shows processing and customer service reps can just tell me it is scheduled to ship on the 21st. Also I ordered two phones but have only been charged for one upgrade fee and haven't been charged for the balance due on my current iPhone X. Guess if I don't see progress by Monday I can call again and complain.

Luckily I am not nearly as hyped for this phone as I was for the X so the wait is perfectly bearable.

Well, that’s the thing, you wont benefit unless you have a need for another line. I am fortunate that I have an account with 4 lines, so I am able to move things around easy etc.

I imagine you might be correct with last year too. Personally I just handed those phones down to family on my account, was easy.

I just don’t see verizon running any other deals, but who knows.

Seems like they are leaving out a large part of the market by not having a deal for existing customers that do not need an additional line. We have 4 lines as well if you include an LTE AW3, how would one move things around to make this deal work for them? I'm genuinely interested, but no one is willing to lose their existing number.

Your experience matches mine exactly so far, except that for with mine they went one step further and actually cancelled the order. At this point I've talked to two different reps, both of which promised to still get my phones to me tomorrow, but neither of which have actually followed through yet. My new order still says 10/10 ship date.

Does anyone have experience with pre-signing for delivery with Fedex? My fear is ok they signed for it I will just keep it.
I've done it before with iPhone order but it's a chance you take. Anyone can come and take it if it's just out in the open.
 
Wow, I would be pissed to say the least. If it was their system issue, they should do whatever it takes to make it right. I think I would be tempted to cancel and go to Apple, as you mentioned.

I have a Ring doorbell and other cameras around my house. I wonder if I was to leave a signature, if FedEx would press the doorbell, let me talk to them and see if they would be willing to open my door and place my phone inside my home. I'm guessing the answer is no lol.

My phone has departed from PA and is heading to either Memphis or here. I received my tracking number a few hours ago. Overnight shipping and indirect signature have been applied to the order.

I’ll be heading to Verizon super early tomorrow’s morning with hopes that I snag an Apple Watch 4. My wife will be available to sign for the phone in case FedEx comes to my home super early (which has happened before)
 
No, just one, and you can pick it up at their facility after 5 pm on friday as long as you bring the door notice saying they could not deliver, or pick it up Saturday.
Oh ok that was what the Verizon rep told me. I guess they were wrong.

I added a 4th line for the bogo deal, since I am on the more everything plan a smartphone line is only 15.00 a month and I am going put my Apple Watch on that line so it will be 10.00 instead which would mean I would be spending 240 for the new line over the 24 months but I will get 700 off the new iPhone.

When did you get charged? Last night? I got charged last night with same phone and haven't gotten an email with shipment. Hopefully mine is soon!

It should ship out today, if you want to double check, chat with Verizon CS via the MyVerizon app or website and they can check for you too.
 
Got my shipping info too. Glad the order process was fairly smooth after the whole validation hold time.

Now to figure out how to activate the phone as I haven’t ported my number yet.

There's a comment section on the FedEx form. I put "Inside front door" on it. I've never had an issue. Again, I understand this isn't an option for everyone.
