It was 3pm but now mine also says 8pm

Mine also changed to say by 8pm I don’t want to be stuck at home for 12 hours..

I won't be home for delivery tomorrow and tried to call FedEx to request them to hold it at the facility...

FedEx told me, NO, they can't hold it at facility due to Verizon not allowing holds. I said, "okay, I'll just pick up on Saturday with the door tag that is left on my door." FedEx then said NO again - it must be signed for upon delivery.

Has anybody experienced this? If so, what's the solution? I am never home during FedEx delivery times.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can sign a release form that will allow the driver to leave it but that's only if you feel safe with that method. Last year when my X came I wasn't ready for it (daughter was getting married) so I registered with Fed Ex online and made an account and had the shipment delayed. I've seen Fed Ex trucks out on Saturdays so you could always call and see if they deliver then.
For some reason our Fed Ex deliveries from VZ never have to be signed for, in fact, they just leave them but that might depend on the area you live in. 3 weeks ago I ordered an X for my daughter and CS said no signature would be required- they just left it on her doorstep in a townhouse neighborhood.

Does anyone know what this is? An order is showing processing for a " G AND D SOFT SIM" and shows A phone number that is not mine . This just showed up on my order page???

Mine says that beside my watch order, I assume it’s the cellular sim in there

FedEx is THE WORST! They hold you hostage in your house all day waiting for your package. In some instances, I have waited only to get a “customer was not home” message on the delivery. They blew right past my house and didn’t even stop. I’m in the same boat as you, I keep trying to presign for it online, but it just says “System Error”.

I printed the release form and am taping it to the door tomorrow.

There's a comment section on the FedEx form. I put "Inside front door" on it. I've never had an issue. Again, I understand this isn't an option for everyone.


Worth a shot I guess or do what I do on the FedEx release form.

So they have actually opened your front door and placed the phone inside your home? That would be awesome if they did that.

I wasn't home to pickup last year with FedEx. You just take the door tag they leave you and go to the FedEx location they give you and pick it up. You must have ID. I picked mine up that evening. Don't know if they would be open on a Saturday to pick up.

I should’ve clarified. I have 2 doors. An exterior storm door and an interior steel door. I meant they open the outer storm door and place it between the doors so it’s out of sight.

Ok folks we've got movement from Memphis. I just received FedEx alert that my phone has departed Memphis. I am a little surprised. Last year it didn't leave Memphis until the middle of the night.

I posted the same thing. My watch left Louisville already as well. Seems quicker than the past

So my phone still says “your order will ship when available” with estimated ship date of 9/21. That’s what it has said since I ordered it, about 10 minutes after midnight. I have nothing in FedEx. I guess I’m not getting mine tomorrow?

Same here. Literally everything you said applies to me as well. Gold Max. If I don’t receive it tomorrow, Verizon will be hearing from me.
