I work nightshift, debating on staying awake when I get home to wait for the delivery or leaving a note and sleeping next to the door just in case haha

I think the NJ shipments don’t depart until later tonight IIRCMy phones have not departed from Elizabeth, NJ yet.
Correct they will ship out tonight and fly to the closest hub to the final destination

Looks like Fedex has two flight scheduled from Newark to Memphis this evening... 9:30PM EDT and 10:49 EDT. I would imagine we will be on one of these flights.
Kind of concerned here...got tracking for my Xs MAX 256 a few days ago now, but it has been "at local FedEx facility" in Elizabeth, NJ for 3 days just sitting there...normally that wouldn't bother me except said "local" FedEx facility is 9 hours away from me. Is it really going to be put on a truck in the morning and driven 9 hours to me?
No, not in the morning. But it probably will be overnight and driven 9 hours to you. =)
I had the same issue. I checked with Verizon a couple times a day all week. I was told over and over “everything’s fine. It’ll be there Friday.” I knew something was wrong so I kept checking and FINALLY today a rep said “it’s on hold because the payment didn’t go through.” So I paid and now have shipping info that it’ll be delivered tomorrow. Those reps really don’t know WTF they’re doing most of he time.
Does anyone know why we can’t pre-sign for the package if we aren’t going to be home? I could work from home if possible but I was hoping to just pre-signed it now I have to worry about it. What are our options if we aren’t going to be home? This is obviously for a schedule delivery for tomorrow
Mine left Coatesville, PA and departed from Newark, NJ an hour ago! That’s an easy flight to my location. So excited!
My Xs Max is nervously 1040 miles away in Elizabeth New Jersey
CC charge last night but still waiting on shipping confirmation and its 4PM PST... This is the longest Verizon has ever left me waiting and this is my 4th preorder. Getting somewhat nervous even though the rep I talked to said everything is fine.
On my fedex delivery manager it has a option to sign for the package. You have to sign up for it tho on their website
That didn’t work for me. I also spoke to FedEx customer service via Twitter and they said this:
Thank you for the information. I apologize the package require a signature and can not be left with a signed note. We can deliver to a neighbor address or once the driver make a delivery attempt , the package will be available for pick up at the local station that evening.
My little baby just made it to Newark New Jersey!! All it needs to do now is get on that Hollund Tunnel lol

I had to do something similar. Did your order date change in your order status?
If you sign up for FedEx delivery manager, you can sign to release the package ahead of time to be left at your house.
