Carrier Verizon 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

It’s finally on its way over to me after spending two days kicking back in the fedex depot. So excited. The cases arrive Thursday so it’s basically careful handling until then.
That's nuts! My order was placed on 9/19 (didn't go through until 9/20, apparently), and I don't even have a tracking number yet. I hate that I needed to use the carrier instead of Apple directly due to my corporate rules.
same boat as you. Placed my order at noon on the Friday of launch for a 64gb Space Gray XS Max because that was the only way i could get one ordered through my companies corporate account. Now its on order and still processing. Sucks waiting

We are in exactly the same boat! Corporate ordering, Verizon Wireless, Timing of ordering, Exact Same iPhone mode.

It was so easy to activate, just handed it over to my iPad and the two just did all the work together. No SIM card to switch out, no having to go to Verizon. My question is, if you have a bunch of apps open on this phone, how to you close them? Or are they already closed once you leave the app?

My 256GB SG Max arrived today, after pre-ordering it on the 20th. Verizon first gave me a delivery date of 3 October, which I kind of expected. But Saturday (two days later) I see a pending charge on my credit card for sales tax. So I had to rush to find a case for it instead of waiting. I’m only coming from the 8 Plus, but this device is so much better. I find the sides to be less slippery than on the 8 Plus; it doesn’t feel like I’m going to drop it if I don’t hold on tight. I definitely notice the improved volume and stereo separation.
Just swipe up slowly from the bottom then swipe them to the top to close them out.
Just for info. When I looked at VZW’s website it showed backordered Xs Max’s and none available for local pickup at the VZW store. But I called the local store and they had some and I went and got mine.
I asked about the website not showing any for local pickup and my sales rep said that the website needs a certain minimum of a model/configuration to show stock in store.
For those waiting it might be worthwhile to call your local VZW stare.

Finally got some changes today. There is now a "view invoice" link on my order page and the ship by date disappeared. I cant view the invoice because im not the account manager. Im hoping this means they charged the phone to my work and it's getting ready to ship.
Just ordered today 9/27 using corporate Verizon site. Estimate is 10/10. Any chance I get it early?
I ordered mine a Gold 64 GB xs max on 09/20 and it has mine as still pending for 10/10 for shipment.
