does anyone else status page just look like this?

Yep me too. Not a lot to go by. I'm just waiting for a tracking number. These forums have been great and I feel good I'll have the phone by Friday.


Boy I'm disappointed at the misinformation, confusing language, and lack of consistent answers from Verizon. It sounds like some of the confusion is being sorted out, and more reps are figuring out what the real deal is. They sure could have avoided a lot of calls and customer worry and confusion if they had just done a better job with the pre order process.
 
same order screen as everyone else... ordered mine at 1:56 am CST and no charge on my cc. Feeling pretty confident about getting it friday :)
 
Just changed to Oct 21

I ordered mine through VZW shortly after 3a on Oct 7 and it said delivery by Oct 14 all week and just now it changed my status to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet." and changed the date to Oct 21. Hopefully it's just because it is processing now.
 
I do feel silly reloading the order status page every few minutes... seems apple is ruining my productivity for the day ;)
 
Thought I would add this. This is from VZW Support on Twitter:

I ordered my 32gb white at around noon on Saturday (don't judge me, I was coming back from vaca) so I knew I would absolutely not receive it on launch day, but I was still optimistic about not waiting TOO long since I had gotten the 32 as opposed to the more popular 16. The email I received assured me that it would be shipped on the 14th and would arrive at my house no later than the 21st. When I check the status online it says it will be shipped in the 21st. Ummm? Which is it?!

I have the exact same problem. I ordered the 32gb at 4am on Saturday morning because thats the soonest I could get to a computer to pre-order. I was out of town. It originally said 10/14 but now its been saying 10/21???

I agree completely. What a horrible pre-order process. Verizon dropped the ball on this one.
