Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Umm...do YOUR homework. Apple has said it has sold 1 million pre-orders across all 3 carriers. Unless all 3 carriers have their order numbers tied together, which I highly doubt, the 977775 order number isn't based on the number of iphones sold before it.

Just a hunch...
 
Did anyone pre-order at the Verizon store? (Like inside the physical store...not online)
I did on the 7th and mine still hasn't shipped :mad:

I also ordered the Black 32gb. I ordered mine at around 4:30am CST on the 7th. My order number is 18811. Does not make sense to me. I feel like i will be getting my phone on the 14th. Fingers crossed.

I ordered mine at 7pm on the 7th thru apple.com. :( BUT! It still said, Deliever on Oct. 14th!

Was gonna order it in the morning but got stuck at work with all of the meetings.
 
Just checked my status and it changed to this. I ordered early morning on Friday between 4 and 5 EST on Verizon's website. I got the 64gb in white. Hope it continues to go my way! I wasn't sure since I had issues with not being able to change the billing information to my name....

I think it still will arrive on the 14th. But if the order status doesn't change in the next 24 hours my level of concern will increase a bit. Knowing Apple they might overnight from a local supply and we won't get tracking until the last second, just so we don't get them early.

same thing i have. same phone too...rumor has it thats the least popular of the iphones....

have you ever pre-ordered apple products before? i have never not gotten on release day, at least a day early! if not 2

should i say, if you are one of the early ones..... that is a must

I preordered the iPad and they made sure nobody got them early. Even having the shipper hold them in depots to ensure no early delivery. But my Verizon iPhone 4 I got three days early but I ordered it from Verizon, not Apple.

Never have pre-ordered on release day so this all new to me.
 
I ordered a 64gb black at 12:10am PDT, order number 5xxx and still get "We received your order and it is in process," expected ship date 10/14/11. Not stressing though. Just adding another data point for everyone.

I just hope I am home to get it! I work until 5 every day this week. I would have liked to get it shipped to my work, but it wouldn't let me change that when I ordered. If they at least wait till after 3, my husband should be home. If not, I guess I will just have to pick it up at the depot.... whenever they yank it off the truck and are open :(

I guess it is coming via fed-ex with what everyone is saying, but UPS has this thing you can sign up for to have them leave a package, deliver to another addres, leave at a kinkos, leave at depot and it will also give you a four hour window of delivery. I don't think fed-ex has a free service like that.

I also ordered the 64gb black. I think I got the order in shortly before 2:30am after giving up on apples site. My status is the same.
 
Mine just changed from expected date of 14th to "shipping date: not available at this time."
