Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

As previously posted yesterday, Verizon status had changed to processing last night and card was charged by 5PM PST yesterday.

I just got (about 20 minutes ago) my tracking email from Verizon. Mine is coming UPS next day air. According to the UPS site, my label has been created, but nothing has been scanned at a UPS facility yet. Ordered a 64GB Black, just before official launch, and i'm in the SF Bay Area.

I ordered a 32black and a 64black at the same time, 5:00am on the 7th. The 32 has already passed through Alaska, the 64 still says "Preparing for shipment". But has an arrival date of Oct 14. What's up with that?

I'm order 8586 32gbWhite and I haven't received anything :( albeit I didn't order till 3:30 PM (afternoon, not a typo). Still my email said delivered by 10/14. No charges on my card yet.

Is anyne else as addicted to checking their e-mail as much as me right now. I've got my first iphone coming, a fancy case for it, 2 touchpads, an amazon order, and I have been doing some early interviewing for a few different jobs that I am waiting to hear back on. I can't pry myself away from the computer, I'm just too excited.
 
Hi all, first post here.
My girlfriend ordered two 4S iPhones for us last week and now we can't wait! Here are some details:

Who: Ordered through Big Red (Verizon Wireless)
What: Black 16GB(shipped 10/11 with tracking) and White 16GB(no tracking yet)
When: Pre-ordered 10/7 @ 3am MST
Where: Arizona
Why: Really? hehe

I got an email just now saying my white 16gb has shipped from Ontario and requires indirect signature confirmation. Sounds like a note should be fine. Ordered at 12:15a on 10/7.
 
If I got it right I think I find my UPS tracking number through reference by padding my order# to 9 digits.
 
I feel like verizon is shipping these based on the model, color and location.

I wonder if like the 16GB went to one warehouse, 32 GB went to another...etc,

I have a midterm in an hour that I should be studying for. F-me, right?
 
Anyone else seeing this when typing in UPS tracking number? I have received the shipping email from verizon.

i still have the expected delivery date of 10/14

No card charge yet.

I ordered black 32gb at 8:20pm EST on 10/7.

that's what I'm thinking too. Maybe the ones that haven't been shipped yet will end up with one day shipping.

Same thing happened to me order was placed on hold called them back within minutes gave a new card. Ship date changed to the 21st, but i got my shipping email this morning. And when i called a spoke to a lady she said that from what she can see that i will get the phone on the 14th.

try fedex. VZW is using both it seems

It's probable. I called yesterday and the lady sounded pretty confident about my order. She actually said "Yours is scheduled to ship Thursday via Fed-Ex Overnight".
 
Just got my shipment confirmation and tracking number! :D
Though it hasn't actually left i got the confirmation!
 
Just got my tracking # via the official email from the Big Red for my Black iPhone 4S 32GB. Ordered at 12:20am PST that night.

It's actually via Fedex 2 Day service and leaving from Ontario, CA not from China like some people had. The best thing is that it is IN TRANSIT, meaning it will get here by Friday 4:30pm. I'm pretty excited!

FedEx emails?

I did the location #/order # trick to look up my tracking info on the FedEx website. I found my order and I'm in the same status (ship 10/12, arrive 10/14, 2nd day service, signature required). But so far I have no email from Verizon, and nothing has changed on my Order Status (tracking # blank, just says "Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011.")

I haven't seen any posts on here where anyone whose phone is shipping via FedEx has gotten the official "Your phone is coming" email from Verizon. If you have gotten this email AND your phone is coming via FedEx I'd love to know!

BTW I ordered a 16GB white and 32GB white, switching from AT&T to VZW (and porting numbers), ordered online around 2:15 a.m. CDT, phones heading to Chicagoland.

Am I screwed for delivery on 10/14? I called Verizon and they clearly didn't know anything...
