Not sure, but I've got to think there is a distribution office in dekalb, its a bigger city or sycamore which isn't too far for you.

Sadly, the only FedEx presence I'm aware of here is in our Office Max ;-)

I looked back through Gmail to find some past tracking numbers.

On FedEx vehicle for delivery CAROL STREAM, IL​

Everything before that one is old enough that I just see the delivery line item itself.

Correct! Mine is shipping UPS 2nd day air to Tampa. That means UPS will have to get the box today and I will see tracking tonight and tomorrow. The phone will arrive on Friday as promised. I know it will arrive, just wish UPS delivered before 6pm at my house. At least I will get work done on Friday since I know the phone will not arrive until after 5pm.

Enjoy the wait guys....the phones look like they will arrive as promised on Friday.

Just tried this with ups and I got the same thing! No Email yet though. Tennessee. Black 32gig.
By "this" I mean going to UPS.com and tracking by reference. UPS 2nd Day Air. Whew.

ugh, wish mine was being delivered with fedex and not ups.. fedex almost always delivers in the morning, while UPS gets to my house at around 6PM that day.. sonova...

I ordered a 64gb black iphone at 8AM CST 10/7 and have the same message as you - no shipment e-mails yet.. And I can not find my UPS/FEDex tracking# using the order location_0000ordernumber - I am not worried. We are not the only ones.

I just called Verizon & talked to a (very nice) Supervisor who seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He said that they should ship out by tomorrow, even if our credit cards haven't been dinged yet.

I have a tracking number and it doesn't work and track by reference doesn't work, yet people without tracking numbers can get track by reference to work...doesn't make sense.

Ok I looked at my Pre-Order status and it doesn't have a + logo next to tracking.

My buddy ordered after me and he has a + logo next to his tracking saying it will be delivered the 14th.

Mine is still being processed (but my email said I'll get it the 14th)

I'm really fighting hard against the urge to call verizon and check for myself. I'm sure they've gotten a million and one of the same question. I'm definitely starting to get nervous though, my card hasn't been charged but a new "Verizon Wireless Authorization" for $0.00 appeared this morning (there's been one there since the 8th for $0.00) That new authorization has been there since very first thing this morning. Anyone have something similar?

Just saw an update from FedEx - mine is shipping from Southern California to our house in Southern California. Am hopeful that it will arrive tomorrow!

Ordered: 10/7 @ 12:15am PT, two white 16GB, verizonwireless.com, credit card charged 10/11 @ 12:14pm PT. Still no email from verizon, I found the tracking on FedEx by following this post

Has anyone who had there cc declined and order put on hold receive any shipping information after a new cc was used?

Yes! I received my shipping notification e-mail from Verizon this morning (6 AM). It has a tracking number and coming to me via UPS. Tracking number does not work tho.

I'm getting kind of nervous. As I mentioned earlier, one of my 2 iPhones was put on hold. When I called, I gave them a new credit card and they said it went through and it would get here the 14th, not the 21st like the page says now. There is definitely a hold on the card, but the order status page still says the 21st and that a payment hasn't been charged, while my other iPhone has the blank tracking number grid with the 14th as the ship date. Hopefully it updates soon..

I had the same problem,i had to call verizon yesterday and give a new card because my order was put on hold because the other card didn't go through,i was told i would still get it on the 14th and got an email shortly afterward saying my order had been completed and was processing for shipping.,but the status page says the same thing yours does,i sent an email last night and got a reply this morning saying my card has been charged and i would receive it by the 14th.
The rep did say when i called yesterday that it would ship out on the 13th overnight shipping,so don't get to concerned,hopefully we will get our tracking #'s by tomorrow.

I have notification that says it will deliver by 10/14 yet I'm still waiting for them to charge my cc and give me a tracking number, this is so frustrating!

I have the same one I ordered, reserved at sam's club so if they don't charge my cc by tomorrow night, i'm cancelling the order and getting it from sam's club, once you're cc has been charged that means it's shipping!

We know they're shipping out. Don't panic and try to be a little patient. Calling a million times and getting angry won't get it here any faster.

Just got my second e-mail notification of shipping from verizon for the second iPhone 4s. This one coming in from Fedex with a working tracking number. The first is coming via UPS. Interesting! Thought they would bundle them together seeing that it was one order but I guess this isn't the case!

I wouldn't put too much stock on this response from Verizon. I just received an email with my UPS tracking number, for delivery by Friday. I order the Black 32 gig at 1150 am PST on the 7th. Give it until day's end before you start getting too worried.

Okay, I went on UPS and tracked by reference. I tried the whole location number, underscore, 00, order number (xxxxxxx_00xxxxxxx) and was able to find my shipment ! The shipping label has been created, but it hasn't shipped yet and I don't have a delivery date.

Worked for me! I still have not received the official email from UPS or Verizon.

I am located in Southern California and placed my order for a white 32gb by 12amPST on the 7th.
