Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

i think that means it is part of a bulk shipment that needs to be redistributed.
 
I pre ordered my 16gb black on the 7th about 4 pm through the vzw website in NC. JUST got an updated 'tracking number' with the plus symbol but no actual number when I expand the +. A pending payment on the credit card just went through today too. I, like many of you, have been checking this site every few minutes. I kept reading everyone's updates and didn't have any of my own to post but I finally got some good info!

thanks for the #... called this #... and got a reasonable explanation as to why my confirmation may be delayed more than others... I preordered on the 7th about 6am (White 32GB)... no cc charge or delivery email confirmation... after holding - the rep advised that my order was successfully processed but because I was keeping my previous phone # (which was through ATT), this takes longer (verifying #, changing services) - but I should get a confirmation for shipping later today or tomorrow... and confirmed I will have delivery on Friday the 14th 🙂
 
UPDATE:

As of two seconds ago I got second shipping notification from Verizon for the White 32GB iPhone I ordered. This one is coming FedEx while the black one is coming UPS. Right now the FedEx one is showing picked up in West Chester, PA while the UPS tracking number still isn't yielding any results.

my confirmation email i received after submitting my order said that it was expected to ship on 10/14/11

All four of the ones I ordered on my business account show the same thing. Completed with a delivery date of 10/21/11. Not holding my breath.

I ordered a black 64BG around 8am CST on the 7th. Up until today it has just been giving me the usual, "processing, will ship on the 14th message." I just received an email an hour ago that said my order was on hold because my card didn't go through. I called and they ran the card again, this time it went through. Now, when I enter my order number, it says my order has been processed and it will ship on Oct. 28th.

My tracking number is still not available in UPS's system. I just want to know if I need to be home tomorrow or friday for delivery! heh.
 
Just got my Shipping Notification e-mail from Verizon, even though I already had seen the FedEx info first. By the way, the Verizon status check page is still broken stating it'll be delivered on the 21st, so at this point, I'd have to safely say that the status check page is worthless.

I wonder what decides which carrier they use. I'm in NJ and got UPS, others got FedEx. Must just be something with cost and location.

either way, I wish UPS would actually acknowledge my tracking number already.
 
No email from verizon. funds still there. But I tried the trick of location#_order#(which 0s making it 9 digits long) at ups.com and it worked. Shipping label has been printed. 2nd Day Air. I have my tracking number and signed up for notifications for when it goes out and when it is delivered since it is coming to work.

Ordered from verizon.com at approx. 2:20am CST on 10/7. I was one of the early ones, yet, I am somewhat 'late' to find my shipping label created in relation to others...but I could care less. Why? B/c I am getting my phone on Friday like everyone else, kids.

This didn't work as of an hour ago but now worked so I recommend to everyone to just sit tight and for the love of god stop calling verizon. They really don't know much more than use, at least their people, and honestly, if I were them, I would probably start giving out fake answers to toy with your brains.

If you preordered, you will get your phone on Friday. End of story.
 
Order complete and CC charged. Found UPS tracking # via above steps: Order Processed: Ready for UPS....but no email from Verizon

If you pre-ordered Saturday afternoon or later I would say you wouldn't get it Friday. ha
