40 pages saying that VZW reps are horribly wrong each time and you still listen to them?!
UPS said that a label was created today, and the shipment has 2-Day Air on it. So I should get it on Friday yes?
Mine says UPS created a label and is shipping by Next Day Air Saver. Does that mean I get mine tomorrow??? 
It is possible it has, you just don't have the numbers yet. I got my tracking numbers email today, but the tracking history says it shipped yesterday.

I haven't rec'd a confirmation e-mail. However, I tried the FEDEX trick people have been posting. My shipment says it will be delivered by 7PM on Friday!

I wouldn't freak out if you don't get a tracking number today, I wouldn't be surprised if some phones are overnighted instead of 2 day.

no one should panic...some people have shipping emails and some don't...some people have success using reference number to track and some don't...some have status change on VZ website and some don't...theres obviously no correlation with order time and shipping outside of the 6 pm cutoff...THERE IS NO SYSTEM....its completely random.

I'm order 8586 32gbWhite and I haven't received anything
Let me know how your order goes. Same boat (same phone and all). 4:30 PM order and my order number was 86** .
I agree. If orders end up getting finalized late today or tomorrow, I think they'll be overnighting to ensure delivery on Friday.
NJ here...did you get an email yet or just found your tracking number through the ups/fedex sites?
i've been looking at siri demos all day and SO excited to try it out. love that she has a pretty fabulous techie sense of humor haha
card was just charged. i've never been so happy to see $200 disappear from my checking account! now to be able to track it!
fyi... i ordered 2 ip 4s and they are coming in 2 separate delievery(has 2 distinct tracking number)
Possible reason to why some of us havent received any updates since out confirmation emails:
Obviously your shipment notification/CC charges are dependent on when verizon actually releases your order for shipment to the shipping companies. Meaning your Card charges when UPS/Fed Ex actually takes possession of your order.
Due to the massive pre-orders, Verizon staggered their shipping: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Verizon is still receiving bulk orders from Apple to their warehouses. Their warehouses are actually, Fed Ex, UPS shipping terminals.
If for some reason you dont receive your shipping notice by tomorrow afternoon or your card isnt charged, then their would be a problem. I was told as long as your status says 10/14, you are fine.

from North jersey. Ordered at 2 55am am EST and got confirmation at 2 59am EST. Just got shipping email from verizon 2 minutes ago. When i click track its progress it brings me to FEDEX site and says picked up in west chester pa at 12:43pm and its 2 day shipping. White iPhone 4S 32GB
I finally have a small update. Now it says "Your order has been sent for processing." And my bank account has a $216 hold on it. Heck yes.
Just got found my package on UPS site. It just says a shipping label has been created and what not. But I dont care its something.
I have not received any updates from verizon however.
