Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Verizon STILL hasn't taken the money out of my account.
And my order is still being processed and I haven't received shipping confirmation, so I'm a little nervous at this point.
It says it'll be shipped to arrive on the 14th. And I preordered my phone on the 7th.

I live on the west coast in CA if that helps somehow?

Help.

yeah, I actually got the email from verizon but tracking number does not work on ups just yet.

and YEAH, that is pretty funny. I have been watching siri demos and reading up on reviews all night yesterday LOL

That's freaking weird. I ordered around 3:30am same day.(ordered through verizon) and got UPS tracking...

You're fine. I wouldn't be suprised if you see some charges today and a shipping notice tomorrow. I expect quite a few to go out via overnight. Don't start freaking out and calling Verizon tons of times yet.
 
got my tracking #, its ups...would prefer fedex but im just glad it shipped. no delivery date yet, just says the label was created :cool:

You're further along than I am. I received an email from Verizon around 6am this morning with my UPS tracking #, but as of just a second ago that tracking # doesn't pull up anything in the UPS system yet.

Mine JUST changed and charged, within the last 10 minutes.
 
VZW just charged my credit card and IOS 5 and Lion 10.7.2 just came out... all at the same time. Happy!

Same with me. Although when I use the Verizon tracking link it gives me the UPS tracking number with a ship date of 10/11/2011. What gives? It should be in the UPS system by now.

sorry.. that's exactly what i meant.. no updated info on ups site.
I wonder why some of us has fedex and some of us has ups(I prefer fedex as they come in in the morning.. ups come around 7PM.. grghghhg.. friday at 7PM ..? come on!!!)
 
I am FINALLY to this point. I was getting worried. I ordered at about 7:30PM Central time on 10/7. So all hope is not lost for Friday if you ordered after their supposed "cutoff."

any business customers still seeing a ship date for the 21st?

i ordered 64GB black on friday morning at 10:45am EST

my order status page now says COMPLETED with an estimated delivery date of 10/21/11

my confirmation email i received after submitting my order said that it was expected to ship on 10/14/11

this is what i've been receiving from VZW business customer support reps via email..
Based on the time and date you placed your order, it should indeed ship on the 14th. However, we will not have the tracking information until Fed Ex actually picks up the package on Friday, the 14th. Your My Biz order number is: MBXXXXXXXXX. We will not have an order number and location code until Friday, when it will process in our system and generate a tracking number. The process is different because this is a pre-order, so we do not have an order number and location code at this time. I verified all of this information with a supervisor here. So, you might just want to give us a call later in the day on Friday to get the tracking information.

We have completed your research equipment order. As previously stated on the e-mail response below the phone will be shipped on October 14, 2011. Once FEDEX Tracking number has been assisgned the delivery date and time can be confirmed

I apologize for the confusion. Orders being placed right now will not be available until 10/21 or later.
However based on the time your order was placed your expected shipping date is scheduled for 10/14/11.

they're pretty confident that i'll be receiving my device with the 10/14 orders.. even though i didn't even get up at 3:00AM EST to order.

i am worried, however, that the device will SHIP on friday and arrive on monday rather than it arriving on friday..

my credit card was recently charged for my 4S so thats definitely a good sign.. hopefully us business customers will see shipment notifications tomorrow.. but i wouldn't be surprised if we saw them on thursday for an OVERNIGHT delivery for sometime on friday. really what i'm hoping for :eek:
 
Using FEDEX reference #, I was able to find my shipment...despite no updates on Verizon or charge to my credit card. Looks like it should arrive on Friday.

Update: Received email from Verizon, status was updated with tracking numbers, and phones have left Memphis.

so my iphone has been picked up by fedex, and the verizon website has yet to update or send me a shipping notice...seems weird
 
Got my UPS tracking number at 6:30 this morning but it's not showing up on the UPS site yet. Guess I'll just have to keep waiting. UPS is usually pretty good for me. Never had any issues in the past.

Based on the Verizon order status page though it says the phone was shipped yesterday. Hoping for early delivery.
 
they should really make these days national holiday.. I think productivity at work is like close to NIL. :p

I'm in Michigan as well. I'd expect the status to change to picked up probably sometime this afternoon/evening. We'll get it Friday like the rest.
 
I got my tracking# from verizon e-mail... Tracked it, I have next day air. I'm in the phoenix arizona area...woohooo!!
 
there's finally been a change on my order through both verizon status pages.

I still haven't received an email yet from verizon and tracking not showing up yet at ups or fedex.

So I just talked to a FedEx rep, and she said that even though my phones are in Ontario (literally a half hour from my house) that they may have to be shipped to Memphis first to be "de-containerized" what ever that means.
