Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but iShip offers better tracking information (for UPS at least). Once your package starts moving, it should tell you where it's headed next, etc instead of just the typical "Departed" and "Arrived" statuses.

Ordered my 64GB Black 4s at 3:45AM ET on 10/7 and got an email from Verizon today at 2:41PM ET saying it has been shipped via UPS 2nd Day Air to me in Hickory, NC. :cool:

Still no updates on the tracking number though...
 
My tracking page updated and shows a shipping information box with my city in it. When I wake up I hope to see it in my state :D
 
Finally...my Credit Card had the money deducted (no charge showing though) and there's a little + Logo next to shipping saying it will arrive on the 14th.

I tried the trick and couldn't see it on Fedex and UPS.

I got 16GB white from vzw.com at 11:00am CST on 10/7. E-mail confirmation at 11:24am CST 10/7. E-mail says 10/14 delivery.

Ordered to Fargo, ND

Credit card hasn't been pinged at all

VZW order status online originally said 10/14 and changed to 10/28 - I know the vzw site has been lying to everyone. A rep at the internet sales dept (the department at vzw that has a clue as to what's going on)tells me I'm still set to get the phone on Friday.

Let's hope I get some confirmation number overnight and it's overnighted (the rep did say they are doing both 2-day and overnights).

Haven't been able to do the FedEx or UPS reference number tricks; don't know if it's related or not.

This time tomorrow, I'll be much more worried. I have never had my Mail app open and on screen as much as this!

Got my emails this morning with the tracking numbers from VZW. Although the FedEx site just says that they have been picked up from Ontario, CA and that it's on it's way with a delivery date of 10/14 by 7pm.
 
I am thoroughly confused. I checked earlier and said it would deliver on 10/14

Ordered just prior to 3AM EDT on Friday. Have my tracking info. Shipping via UPS, which is odd. Usually my VZW shipments come via FedEx. No matter - we look to be on schedule for Friday! Awesome! :D:D:D

unfortunately i can't get around the fact that i have no tracking confirmation.:(
 
IMPORTANT:
For those of you who are worried, don't be. Yesterday my status was that my order was "on hold" with a ship date of 10/21. Today it changed to the picture below, still with a ship date of 10/21.
But, I received an email stating my phone shipped, pictures below.
Basically, Verizon's tracking system sucks, and if you ordered by the Oct. 14 delivery date deadline (whatever that time was), you will receive it this Friday.
Also, my debit card has NOT been charged yet!

I made an edit to my post from a few minutes ago.
My debit card has NOT been charged yet, which is interesting. iPhone for free??? :D

thanks for this link, looks like mine is 2 day overnight, from UPS, does UPS deliver later in the day?
 
I ordered through Verizon. What should put in for my reference number to track my order? My card has been charged.

oh sorry I read that wrong! For fedex it is order location_order number. You need 9 digits for your order number so add 0's before hand. for ups it is order location order number with no spaces and 0101 at the end. The order number needs to be 9 digits again.

Anyway, ended up getting the phone ordered over the phone... no credit card charge, no status update, no reference number "trick."

Anyone else in the same boat with any results? To be fair, it did say delivery by the 21st on the web page, but my XV6700 is getting so tired.

Same here! Ordered Saturday around 3pm and still looking at a 10/21 delivery.
