Pissed off right now. Got my shipment notice yesterday, it was in Ontario CA then San Diego CA (I'm in Los Angeles CA).

They flew it BACK OUT to Louisville, KY.

WHAT THE ****?
 
AHH! Okay so I preordered VERRYYY late, (saturday @3PM) did NOT expect to get my phone this week. I checked my status today just out of curiosity (yesterday it said it would be delivered by 10/21) and today it says that it shipped the 12th via fedex!! does this mean i will get my phone tomorrow?? :D

LOL. that happened to me too! I'm in L.A. also. I'm sure we'll still get it tomorrow. But those are some crazy ass logistics to fly the phones that were in Ontario to Louisville, only to fly them back to Ontario.

Emailed the photos to myself, but it's taking forever to get through my corporate firewall. They're coming soon...

Backing up my iPhone 4 via iCloud now so I can just fire up the new 4S!
 
So when you get the phone, you should just be able to sync it to iTunes in order to activate it right? A Verizon rep was trying to tell me you need to bring it in to get it unlocked. Any validity to that?
 
Couple more of this 32gb beauty...nice to see the SIM card slot on this one - will be nice to drop a pre-paid SIM in there next year when we go to Italy!

Mine has done that exact same thing as well, but I have no notice of it being sent back. Are you just assuming yours is being sent back to Ontario?
 
It's probably cheaper for them to ship our SoCal stuff to their main hub so that they don't disrupt the flow. They'll probably sort them out in Louisville and send them here to local hubs tonight.

I'm assuming that as well last update I got was
10/13/2011 1:13:00 PM ARRIVAL SCAN LOUISVILLE, KY US

My normal UPS packages come from Ontario, so I'm guessing that is where it will come back to today.
