Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

So I ordered on the 7th @ around 10pm EST at got initial confirmation right after hitting submit that said delivery by the 21st. But when I checked status said the 14th. I just checked bank account and the entire charge is pending for iPhone is pending. The Verizon page has changed and there is a blank spot for courier and ship date is blank. Yet it says will deliver by the 14th?

I am in the SAME exact boat. See the previous page where I posted. You will definitely get your phone by tomorrow. If they charged your CC, and the status is saying 'pre-order will deliver by 10/14' then you are good to go! :)

Right now the best part is asking it to remind me of something on a day/time and it records it in the calendar. Man, that beats having to type all that crap out!

Cool! Yeah, I can't wait as I still have an old grandpa style flip phone so this will be 1000 % better. :D
 
Are we allowed to pick it up from the FedEX facility? Mine has moved from Ontario, CA to Canoga Park, CA (just 20 mins from my house). Unfortunately, the tracking says 'Not due for delivery' so it is being held there until tomorrrow.

Anyone know?

It depends on the facility I would call fedex and ask cause some are saying no but when I called they told me yes.
 
Update

Ordered 64gb black @ 3am on the 7th, shipping to New England, status has changed to "Departure scan" as of 4:05pm. I'm sure when I check in the AM the update will be that it's at the local distribution center
 
mine shipped with fedex next day. Unfortunately i wont be home tomorrow. Hopefully they can drop the package off at kinkos for me.
 
Mine finally shipped! After it saying the whole week it was gonna come on the 21st. I have a tracking number saying it will be at my door on before 3pm tom!
 
Awesome news for me I orderd my iphone 4s 64GB on the 8th at 130pm and my original delivery date was the 21st as of yesterday. I saw that they charged my card yesterday and just a little while ago I got any email from verizon saying my order has shipped with tracking info from fedex its in memphis TN right now looks like ill get it by 3pm tomorrow woot woot for me.
 
Well, I'm not quite sure how this is going to happen. It's been at the damn Louisville location since 9 am this morning. If they plan on getting it here sometime tomorrow they better hurry up and let it leave!

Aren't you the same person who said they made a deal with a UPS worker on the side to get your phone early?

I hope so. I am so ready to get rid of this Blackberry! It is freezing every few minutes! My first iphone to go with my ipad and other apple computers!
 
Well huh.
Ordered two of the 4s and got two Verizon emails with tracking numbers the other day. Just noticed they both have the same tracking number though.
Thought I've seen people that got two phones getting two tracking #s.
Maybe both in one box. I'm curious to see how this plays out.

Since I'm the one working from home tomorrow, and only one shows up, my wife is gonna be pissed! Hehe.
 
Just got TWO shipping confirmation e-mails from Verizon for two black 16GB iPhone 4S' (new customer, porting one number, family plan)!!!!!!!! Expected delivery date 10/14 via FedEx!!!!

I ordered 10/7 at 11pm so there is still hope for all of you still waiting. Also note, that you can't go by this link (as it is still showing processing for me): https://preorder.verizonwireless.com/iconic/iconic/screens/IconicSearchInit.do

Verizon, never saw the option for it, instead there was a note that said I have no choice but to choose a tiered plan, then instructions to call Verizon to have it reinstated. Being hearing impaired, I was very annoyed by having to jump through hoops here just to keep my grandfathered plan.

There's plenty of time. It's flying, It doesnt take a day to fly to Indiana.

Just a heads up... I just clicked on one of the e-mail shipping confirmations (both have same tracking #), and it gives me a status update of where my phone is WEST CHESTER, PA - PICKED UP (I live 1 1/2 hours from there! woohoo!) This is within my e-mail. When I click the link to check it via FedEx website, it says no tracking info is available.
