If Louisville is the origin I'm not sure how 2 day is gonna make it by tomorrow.

Mine is being overnighted from California to New Jersey. I NEVER use overnight shipping so I'm a little skeptical. Do you guys think it will arrive by tmw? I'm shipping with Fedex if that means anything.

I overnighted something from Oregon to Delaware and it got there in one day. You should be fine. :D

Kentucky is the UPS main sorting facility people. Even if these things came into Ontario, they were just pushed on to San Diego (bigger airport, handles the bigger planes that move all these packages) and over to Kentucky for the final sorting, where they're dumped back on a plane, to get back to the West coast (and all points inbetween) local hubs.

My work uses FedEx for our overnight needs, I can't can't how many times something that was sent overnight from the SF Bay Area to another town in the SF Bay Area that was sent back to the primary sorting center in Memphis TN before it gets sent back here again. It's just how they do things.

My most recent tracking is below. Looks like they decided for about 30 minutes that they were going to slap it on a truck and drive it up here before they wised up and tossed it back on a plane to Kentucky.

And there's my second confirmation! Add me to the list people who ordered two phones and have one shipping UPS and one shipping FedEx. My white 16g is shipping FedEx and my husband's black 16g is shipping UPS. Luckily mine is in FedEx's system already, no update on my husband's. I'm sure UPS is just overwhelmed though. Shipping to MA, ordered about 5:30pm on the 7th (BTW)

So no one else here has received their 4S early?

I've been tinkering with Siri (of course), and it's pretty funny. Have decided that, rather than restore my old phone settings to this one, I'm going to just redo this one with what I had on the iP4. Seems easy enough, for now!

My phone has sat in Memphis, TN since yesterday at 6:37 pm Central Time. If I don't see a change from "Arrived at FedEx Location" soon, I am going to lose it!

[Everybody,Most of us] understand that, but it doesn't make it any less silly.

Mine are coming via FedEx in one shipment. Curious that FedEx web site last update was last night when I emailed status from their website it shows an updated location closer to me as of this morning.

It seems that the FedEx website is not as up to date as a tracking email you can send yourself from their website.

So bored at work, so checking the tracking sites.
UPS- Still in KY
Package Mapping- Still in KY
iShip- Departure Scan to NY.

The world of express mail shipping is so bizarre. How does a 3rd party site have more info available than the actual shipper? 2011 is mad weird.

And we have movement!

Are you saying that you don't like Siri or you do like it?

Mine is still hanging out in Louisville. How can it get to NY from Louisville tomorrow using 2nd day. Makes no sense!

I have had many items shipped from PA to Texas and California and back via overnite and they arrived as scheduled. So, if it's 2nd day air and there's one more day to go, it will get there on time. Don't fritz out.

Finally some tracking info.

I can tell you what worked for me on UPS.

LOCATION#_ORDER#

There must be nine digits after the underscore, so you will probably need to pad the ORDER# by sticking some zeros in front of it. My ORDER# was 7 digits, so I needed to put LOCATION#_00ORDER#. This doesn't always work and I don't know why. It seems even people with tracking numbers from Verizon can't get this to work sometimes.

Thank you! :)

Oh I love it. Only did a little bit with it at lunch with the wife, but it's "funny" in the sense that it has some witty responses to some silly questions I asked.

Right now the best part is asking it to remind me of something on a day/time and it records it in the calendar. Man, that beats having to type all that crap out!

Okay so... just did a status check. Up until this point since 10/7 it has said:

Ace Order No: 67***
Ace Order Location: D77****
Order Status: Your order has been received and is in process.
Expected Ship Date: 10/14
Tracking No:
Courier:

NOW, it says (notice the ship date info has been removed):

Ace Order No: 67***
Ace Order Location: D77****
Order Status: Your order has been sent for processing.
Expected Ship Date:
Tracking No:
Courier:

What does this indicate? Has anyone had a similar status?

I ordered 10/7 at 11pm on VZW site, new customer w/ family plan 2 black iPhone 4S 16GB. Just when I was about to lose hope.... SOOOO excited!!!!

I preordered two phones on Friday (16 Gb white and 64 Gb white). Both will be porting from AT&T.

My email after ordering says an October 14 ship date. However, I've received nothing since then and my order status page hasn't changed since day one. My CC has also not been charged yet.

I'm beginning to wonder if this order is coming on time. One of the reasons I switched from AT&T was so that I could buy the phone earlier (before I would be upgrade eligible). I'm going to be upset if this effort was for naught.

I am a new VZW customer who stayed up until 1:00 AM on 10/7 to order two 64GB phones with a $200/month plan and I have not received ANYTHING. This is getting frustrating.

Exact same situation here. One rep this morning told me they are processing my order today and I should get ship notification later today. But two reps before that knew nothing. Nobody knows anything at this point, you just have to wait and see. Not very confidence-inspiring after finally taking the plunge and switching to verizon. I just keep reminding myself how much I hate AT&T
