After arriving in Newark at 1:27 this morning, it finally left Newark less than an hour ago at 7:52!!!! Hopefully it'll come by tomorrow morning

You will get your phone tomorrow. They will probably fly it out to VA tonight and drive it to your local hub and in the am it will be sent out for delivery. These guys have it down to a science.
Mine arrived in Newark at 7:59PM too!
I'm kind of in the opposite boat everyone else is in though. I think my phone is gonna arrive too soon. The past few packages I've ordered from UPS arrived between 10 and 12, and there's a good chance if this one does the same thing, nobody will be there to sign for it.
Here's to hoping something slows them down a bit (at least for my phone).
I get the feeling I'm gonna be driving to wherever it ends up being stored after the (potentially failed) delivery attempt and picking it up myself.

I am assuming that yours is being shipped via UPS. As of 4:05 mine departed Louisville and on the way to Shrewsbury, MA! So our iPhones are on the way!

FINALLY got a shipping confirmation about my iPhone. YAY! Getting shipped from West Chester, PA to Newark, DE. The only problem is it says it will be delivered by 3.... and I work till 5. WAH!!! Why couldn't it come today when my husband was off!?! Hmph.
I tried seeing if I can hold it at a location, but it says it isn't an option for this. Oh well. Maybe they will try to deliver Saturday? (Does Fed-Ex even do Saturday deliveries???) If not, I will end up having to pick it up Monday or Tuesday from the shipping center since I will never be home in time.

Just checked and it shows arrival in Charleston,WV. On schedule for tomorrow. Shenandoah Valley in Virginia
Sign up for the email notifications. Mine still says its in Memphis, but email notification says it left around 4pm.

I think you can do an indirect signature - meaning leave a note with your name and info - requesting Fedex to leave the package- and signing it
Yeah.... not doing that. I live in a decent area, but cars have been broken into lately, so I'm not big on that. I am going to try to get them to deliver it to the property management building (I live in an area that is mixed with rented/owned townhouses), but since it is up to them, not sure if they will honor it or not.
my thoughts on mine as well.
they'll probably hit an overnight flight (at least yours will), and arrive at the local hubs in the mornin.
