Yeah I just figured that out. Kinda dumb :/ they should just include a little bit of the tax along with the monthly payments.
FINALLY I was able to get through on the website. Ironically, it was at the exact same time that an Apple Rep answered the phone. She stayed on the line while I went through all the screens. Email says it will ship 9/25.
Were you able to place the order? She's telling me that I have to talk to billing in order to place the order
I was a bit worried that something bad might happen to my plan since Apple let me order the phone with two-year pricing while Verizon wouldn't let me, so I spoke to a chat rep about it. He said that their website was having problems with two-year contract upgrades. He told me I wouldn't have to change plans or anything.
I suspect, though, that Verizon purposely hid the two-year upgrade pricing in order to push as many people as possible into switching plans and either buying the phone outright or entering a device payment plan.
Did the preorder using the Apple.com. Still could not get the right data plans. I will contact VZ to fix it or I will cancel the preorders. Two phones, one space gray 6s 128 for hubby and one gold 6s plus 128 for me. First smart phones for us.
No idea! I kinda skip through most production stories...which is dumb on my part. But I think the two week gap and quicker production might be a good combo for everyone involved.

Oh ok. The chat person said it was all set and then said I had to talk with billing to confirm. Got the billing department and they couldn't find the order. Just started over...
So you were in the middle of the order? Or this was after? My chat person told me to go through with the order then wait for the email (this was after I ordered though). Glad they're being consistent...
How is that possible lol my email sent at 1159 and my number was 96k. Do you think it has to do with when the order started?
What's your point? It's 2015 and it really doesn't matter anymore what color of anything you buy anymore, it's personal taste. I love the Rose Gold aluminum but I didn't want a white bezel this time, so I went Space Gray. Phone color doesn't make me any more or less masculine then the next guy.
Who knows. I did back up a few times. Maybe got in there around 1153ish.
But hey, we're golden.
ugh, this is really annoying. want to keep UDP so need to transfer upgrade from my line to another line. can't get the upgrade pricing on the verizon site, but can't order on the apple site cause the line that I want to use isn't eligiblle for upgrade yet. and I'm sure the 6s is going to get pushed back soon.

Why don't you try ordering it via chat? There's not a long wait for a chat rep. Less than two minutes to get one of them when I tried earlier.
Annoying they need so much account info when ordering the phone outright. I'm pretty much just going to swap sims when I get it. Why couldn't it be as easy as ordering the t mobile version.
the chat guy was not helpful. he basically said that he couldn't even get the 2 year pricing for me, much less do a transfer + upgrade. did you have better luck with yours?
The order number is calculated by the order location number. Each location has it's own set of order numbers. Both my orders are in the 232k for my location, and were placed at 11:57 and 11:59.
Oh and anyone else notice the AppleCare + being sold for 99 for the 6s? I almost jumped on that just to see what would happen.
