Curious, is your account current? Our bill is being paid tomorrow so I'm wondering if that's what's holding it up perhaps.

Yeah. Same here. My account wasn't late just needed to be paid. They got that this morning. So it was early.
 
Yay!! I'm no longer in processing and have been updated to pending and there is now a delivery date, 9/25!! I feel better seeing this move. So exciting. Maybe now I'll stop checking constantly. Prob not though. :) no charge yet though. I'll feel even better after seeing that as seeing the issues with payment.

I was charged and my delivery date is the 18th I ordered right when preorders opened. My status on the Verizon page is "We received your order and it is in process"

Yay!! I'm no longer in processing and have been updated to pending and there is now a delivery date, 9/25!! I feel better seeing this move. So exciting. Maybe now I'll stop checking constantly. Prob not though. :) no charge yet though. I'll feel even better after seeing that as seeing the issues with payment.

Mine went to pending as well. It's the first I've seen anyone mention it. No charge yet though.
 
After seeing the fraud alert postings this morning I called my credit card company to inform them that a large charge was incoming. They actually have a 'Large Purchase Alert" that they flagged on the account. Hopefully that works! Ordered as soon as preorders opened. Status is still "We received your order and it is in process". Delivery of 9/25.

I just received a FedEx tracking number for delivery Friday, 9/25.

Credit card charged for sales tax on full price of unit. Status on Verizon says shipped.

My order has been updated to shipped with a FEDEX tracking number. FEDEX shows the package has been picked up (Memphis, TN), with a future delivery date of 9/25.

Yeah I made sure of that before I ordered. Was afraid something would get screwed up.

We'll hopefully Monday things will start moving then.
 
Still nothing here. No emails or notifications and an expected delivery date of 9/25. Ordered at 12:04 PDT.
 
Got the unable to take payment email, Called VZW got it cleared up for my 128 silver 6s, no movement. My wife's 128gb RG got no email and just received tracking info from Fed Ex. Same credit card, ordered 3 minutes apart. I hope my phone didn't get pushed back due to credit card fraud protection.

Both of my phones (purchased separately about 6 hours apart on the morning of the 12th, one right when preorders opened) have now received shipping notices, both saying to deliver on the 25th by 8pm.

Same here. They've shipped and the FedEx tracking info says future delivery (9/25) requested.
 
Still no charge and still showing processing. Called AMEX ahead of time to check and authorize the sales tax charge thanks to the people reporting in here. Nervous about the lack of movement as I preordered at 2:58 am est.


Mine was just before midnight as well. I wonder if that had anything to do with it!

So I'm one of the folks with the shipping on 9/18, probably just an automated estimate based on the order/processing, since there's an artificial delay on iPhones (till the 25th). For "fun", I opened up a chat, the rep said, and I quote, "Your phones have shipped, but they're on backorder...".

Hahaha ... W T H.

Hopefully that's just some CS stooge totally unaware of the logistics of a new iPhone model, but I hope us 9/18-ers aren't actually in some kind of backorder status. I was 2:59-3:01a (EST), my confirmation email came in at 3:03a, so I'm pretty positive I was reasonably early in the order process. The wife said our card had a charge in process last night, so I'm assuming no issues on the billing side (that's the same card we've use for Verizon for years).

I'll update if I get any additional emails, info, etc.

After my Verizon order payment declined fiasco, I just checked my order status and it no longer said "Payment not taken yet." And was back to normal with a delivery date of 9/25. Then I refreshed the page and it was back to no payment and n/a delivery date. Verizon is so confusing o_O

Their order status page will do that sometimes. I checked my status yesterday and it said that one of my orders was canceled. I refresh the page and then it says still processing. I think the more you check the status, the more it gives you trouble. lol
 
I called Verizon back, mostly because when I ordered the first time she said the card was expired, which it wasn't. They said the card will be charged 2days before it ships. She was basing this off the 9/25 ship date has in the system. She said it will be coming 2 day shipping. I should be charged on the 21 or so. She mentioned all was well on their end, they haven't requested payment yet.

I called Chase back as well and had them note the account for the proper amount coming in from Verizon Wireless.
 
I just got shipping number from Fedex for delivery at 9/25 by 4:30 PM.
Shipping from Westchester, Pa to AZ
Ordered from Verizon's website at midnight on 9/12
I am going to try to get it held at Fedex for pickup rather than waiting all day for delivery.

My credit card was charged yesterday by Verizon.

I don't expect we will see tracking numbers until Tuesday though.
