Verizon.com: Preorder thread

There's a lot of mixed happenings here. There's seems to be no consistency. I realize there are a ton of these to do, I guess I would expect them to go from processing right to tracking numbers. Seems like some people did do that while others seem to be doing this weird incremental thing.
 
Wow crazy, I don't think I've ever seen tracking numbers before Sunday of a release. And for the 6, I think we didn't get tracking numbers until Tuesday or Wednesday prior.

Mine also got a tracking number, West Chester, PA.

I wonder if it is due to expected delays due to the Pope's visit?
 
Darn it. Last night my credit card company declined the VZW charge because thought it was a fraudulent charge. Glad I set up text alerts.
Called CC company and sorted that out. Called VZW and the charge went through this time. Order is now back on track.
 
Did anyone order from Verizon last year and get their delivery date bumped up? Does that ever happen?

Yes. That happened last year with our 6+ order. About 2 weeks earlier than initial delivery date. When checking order status the delivery date kept showing an earlier date. Usually a couple days each time we checked.

Awesome. Did you end up getting it on release date? If not, how much later? Just curious.
 
Yeah my order was in before midnight PST. Still shows processing in one screen. Pending in another (which now doesn't show any of the return info), but still a delivery date of 9/25. I won't sweat it until next Friday at midnight lol.
 
I got shipping notification on my wife's 64gb silver 6S at 7am. No shipping notification yet on my 64gb space gray 6S Plus.

Verizon show shipment and tracking for both however.
 
Got charged yesterday. But still no tracking number. I'm hoping it comes soon
Edit:just checked again and it has been shipped will be here by 3 ok Friday.

That's bogus... it has something to do with how VzW is passing the transaction... too many banks, including AMEX, are having the problem, and VzW knows all too well about this issue.
 
I only received an email for my RS 64gb, but when i check my orders, its has both the RG and the Silver 6s+ under separate tracking numbers.

both coming from coatesville PA (about 40min from my house) yet i have to wait till friday.

I bet if i had a crazy wife.... (if....) she could probably cause a scene and get them to hand it over. they wouldn't have too much an idea what it is, surely
 
Got tracking, but I'm not really excited. The Christmas feeling has vanished, and now I'm just like, "Meh, another iPhone!" :(

I ordered a 6s plus 128 gb space grey and my conf time was 1201 (pst) on the business site. Still nothing beyond preorder, no tracking or shipping info.
