It is mail to my work which is the town over in Elizabeth, NJ!!!! Is there anyway to call Fedex and have that future delivery request bypassed? Is it just going to sit in the warehouse all week?
Haven't been charged yet. Gold 6S+ order with a 9/25 delivery date. Ordered at 12AM
For those of you with payment errors, how did you know? Does your order status say so? Do you get an email? Did you find out on your own after contacting Verizon?

My order for 3 Pluses (16gb RG, 16GB SG and 64GB SG) is still in process w/ ship date of 9/30 after ordering an hour after release. Weak.

Anyone in central US? I'm in Kansas City with expected delivery date of 9/25 but still shows order status "We received your order and it is in process." and my credit card has not been charged yet. If I remember correctly the exact same thing happened to me last year and I didn't see anything happen till Monday. Probably due to my location.
I got email from verizon stating order is on hold and payment cannot go thru, just call bank let them know you authorizing verizon to take $ call verizon let them use the same card to try to take the $ again. If it goes through your good to go if it doesn't might be you got no $$$$ or might be an billing address issue with the card/bank/verizon all bad situation.
Well, I'm not sure. My original order from the 12th is w211501. But last night a vzw supervisor told me there was an issue with the order and it wasn't going to ship. He re ordered, and canceled it. He is supposed to be expediting the new order as it has a delivery date of 10/15. I got the cancel text message this morning saying that it was successfully canceled. At 1:19 I got an email from the bank advising of the vzw charge. Then I checked what was supposed to be the canceled order and it says deliver by the 19th. You cant get in touch with anyone from VZW business until Monday...
So I am hoping that they did ship the canceled order and Im waiting for the tracking number. If I get that, Im pretty sure it will continue as it has already been given to fedex. Thats why Im asking how long it takes to get to that point ...

Based off the timeline of others, since show the 19 delivery date today, should have our tracking numbers by tomorrow morning.
I do need to call Verizon once that happens and divert the address to my work.
Yes. They will not deliver until launch day. Never. Big penalties from Apple to deliver early.
I got a FedEx tracking number today for my 2 iPhone 6s's. Says delivery on Friday 9/25 by 3pm. Long Island, NY

Yes.. There are always flukes. I've heard about 3 in my last 5 years of doing pre-orders. You are the 4th. It's so very rare.. Just want to make sure people don't get unreasonable expectations.

I'm trying to recall the timing on everything.
Ordered at a couple of minutes before 3a on 9/12 (EST), got my confirmation email at 3:03a, the order status indicated "..in process" and expected delivery date of 9/25.
On then on wed/Thu, I noticed there was some change with the product details when looking at "My orders", some additional detail.
Friday, I got the weird update on delivery date to 9/18, obviously erroneous, probably triggered by the product being available on Thursday-ish. It updated late last night to 9/19.
Then today, maybe 1p[?] I checked the Verizon site and saw the Shipped with the Tracking number, I received the email for that same shipping confirmation (with tracking) at 2:47p
So same day from the 9/19 to the confirmation email (and matching website update), and when the tracking number was available it was in the FedEx system.
The delivery date is still 9/25 like the original confirmation (interim impossible dates notwithstanding)
Both our phones shipped with the same tracking number as well: 6S Rose Gold, 64GB, and 6S+, SG, 64GB

Works for me. I'm a newbie to preordering and was worried. When I go to the order status it does say delivery by 9/25. I just don't get why it was canceled due to this if nothing changed. Thanks!

I'm in Kansas City as well. I order by 6s+ 64GB Silver right when pre-orders opened. I ordered a 6s 64GB Rose Gold about 6 hours later. Both have been shipped and i have tracking numbers for both. Fedex says I'll have both of them by 8pm on the 25th.
