Exciting to see movement! My confirmation email tracker says "Expected delivery date - 09/19/2015" - had me excited for a minute!! lol

Nothing about 09/25 but I'm sure it'll come on time.
 
Neither of my phones have shipped yet: nothing with Verizon or FedEx/UPS. Best I get is from Verizon saying it's been sent to the warehouse. IDK if the 2nd phone I ordered for my father has charged yet for the tax, but mine is pending with my bank. I hope to see a tracking number tomorrow.

In other news, the two Space Gray Lightning Docks I ordered have shipped and should be here Tuesday. Gotta love living near an Apple warehouse!

Nope, hasn't been processed yet, even. I'm in the exact same boat as you. If you see the order correctly online, that most likely means it was placed correctly. Not promising, but probably.

You did have a bad experience, and it sucks, but generally the phone reps are able to place an order correctly (mine was placed over the phone and all things indicate it was fine.
 
Haven't been hearing about charges yesterday that got tracking numbers today.

I don't get it. People who ordered after others are tracking their phones now. I'm curious if our hold up is for stock to get to the warehouse?

Verizon has no clue how to process these apparently, why not issue lottery tickets? They obviously cannot handle orders in a sequential manner.

you will get the device on the day in your confirmation email. They don't process items in sequential order, it's based on location. Your phone is allocated and the its processed when they get to your bucket.

Not sure on that. They supposedly canceled this order. Been 24 hours since the charge and nothing showing it got to fedex.

call them, play dumb and say my phone was charged but not shipped and see what they say.

I wouldn't worry about it. I ordered right around midnight like the rest of you and I don't even have a charge or a tracking number. I've had zero movement since preorder night and I'm not worried at all. Chill out man. lol
 
They're open on Sundays, I called earlier today.

Its the most likely part that has me bothered. This is my first preorder dealing directly from Verizon. I wish I could have ordered from apple directly. I would have also gotten the airline miles I always get from apple (and other) order.

If I had gotten one single straight answer from the reps, I would not have been concerned.

If I hadn't gotten convinced to cancel and reorder even though I told them I thought it was a really bad idea, they reassured me that my order would not go through and the only way to fix it was to do this.

Now Im at the point where I think it has gone past all points of possible cancellation but I wont be comfortable until I see fedex has the package.

I now know next year what to expect.

Has to be a location thing. I ordered mine nearly 24 hours AFTER they were available, and I have tracking with multiple moves already. Don't fret, there is plenty of time still.

Ordered at 11:57pm west coast time. I haven't received s.hit yet.

Got an email from Verizon yesterday that my order was on hold due to payment issues. Called my credit card company to confirm the charge and remove the hold. Then I called Verizon to reauthorize the payment on my original order which processed fine. Just checked my order status today and it shows shipped with a tracking number.

I think you've had this trouble probably because you're on the enterprise side. Enterprise reps are probably not used to dealing with iPhone preorders.
