My order got charged and updated to say shipped by 9/20. iPhone 6s+ 64GB Gold. Ordered sometime between 12am and 12:30am eastern.

Location : N215XXX (Dont know if i should post the whole thing)

Welcome. The Location code doesn't reveal any personal info. There will be thousands of people with the same location code. Like mine is P386501, which is the facility in Memphis.

I have the same location number and my delivery date changed to 9/20. Wonder if mine will happen soon!!! Yes I'm very frantic. Never preordered and scared to death I didn't do it right!!

Im super excited too, and ive been anxious because i signed up for a new account with a ported number. so i dont even have access to a my verizon account yet, since you log in with your phone number. but, it wont port from att until i activate the sim in the new iphone, thus i cant make an account cause it needs to be an active verizon number :p

also, this makes it pretty clear they must be going by location, not by time ordered (which makes sense) They are taking everyones orders, assigning them to lots, then those lots being shipped to certain locations. If you havent been charged yet, don't worry. They must still be working on your lot. Your phone is in there somewhere, it just isnt 'yours' yet. But its in the computers that there is an unassigned phone sitting there, waiting to be assigned to you.

You did fine. You'll get your phone on 9/25.

That's actually kind of nice to think about...just a poor little iPhone sitting there waiting to be assigned to someone!
 
My order has been showing as completed since Saturday morning but with no tracking numbers. How ever the order for one of my co workers is showing completed with a tracking number and the phone currently sitting in NJ.

Normally I wouldn't be concerned about this, however when I logged in last night to check the order status all of the fields read n/a and when I called tier 2 CS they couldn't find any record of the order. Has anyone had anything like this happen over the past 48 hours? The device I am waiting on to ship is a 6s+ 128gb

Oh yea, same problem dealing with the reps. Same model too 128gb plus model in space gray. I am thinking they ran out of stock on them.

but youve also said multiple times that they had to cancel and reorder your order. also, not everyone will fit into a lot (think pallet). there of course are multiple pallets for each location. if you havent gotten tracking yet, there must not be an available pallet that is set to ship to your location at the moment. however, i bet they are getting plenty of pallets daily, and at least one of those has to be going to your location, of which you will be put on it. you said payment has cleared, correct? all your waiting on now is for a pallet that is shipping to your location to become available so they can assign a phone to you. the whole cancel thing probably delayed you a little, but im not verizon, so i dont know. logistics of a release this size is crazy.

I was thinking that until my order came back as completed and still showing delivery on the 25th. I was told that we don't get the tracking numbers till its scanned by fedex???? So I'm thinking that my order has been boxed but not picked up yet. Worst part is I can't call the people that will give me the real answers till Monday.
 
Same here! Arrived at a FedEx location in NJ today.

Anyone have any luck with holding the phone at FedEx for pickup?

highly doubt that will happen. they will have so many packages and they will probably all be ready in trucks by midnight and into the earlier hours. they will be stocked up! I'm in south jersey waiting on mine

Bummer. Going to call and ask FedEx tomorrow. I don't think it's reached it's final stop yet as I'm in Brooklyn, hopefully with 4 days notice they'll be able to pull it for me :-/
 
You should be able to get them to hold it for pickup on the 25th. But as for early pickup good luck. Probably call a 1800 number and tell them you want to pick it up and they will flag it to be held. Then when tracking showes it has reached its final destination you could go in and try to talk your way into it.

Not looking to pick it up any earlier than Friday, just not going to be home that weekend and would feel safer with it being held at Fedex. Landlord has a tendency of signing for packages and leaving them in the hallway. No way that'd still be there when I get back Monday!

have a crack at what bhall said.. i might get my wife to go cause a scene at fedex and see if she can get them once they arrive.. not everyone would know they are iPhones.....

lol. They may not know they are iPhones but they know they can't give them out before Friday. There are instructions on the label and (save for the few occurrences they are released before the official released day).
 
Also, most of the time they don't sit at your local sort facility (unless you are near a major one) they are transferred to the local facility the night before so that people don't try to get them early.
 
Finally got my tracking number but the courier is "UPSSHP002" with a UPS tracking number (starts with 1Z..) but the link on the tracking number takes me to Fedex and the number is invalid with both UPS and FedEx. What in the world, Verizon? :confused:
