Maybe yours was further along than mine? I get this

Action Unavailable
UPS My Choice® features are not available for this package.

Nope. I found this info

US Thursday, September 24, 2015 6:06 PM Order Processed: Ready for UPS

(are they plannong on flooding these into their system at 6:06 PM Thursday?)

by tracking on this page

http://www.theupsstore.com/pages/track.aspx

I've had MyChoice for around 2 and a half years now, and have used it frequently. Maybe that's it?

so we have 2 people saying it didnt work, and 1 saying it did. id pitch in, but my tracking number still isnt found in their system. hopefully soon.

I just downloaded the app. Logged in. Showed mine was in coatsville, pa as well. Hit change delivery. Hold at store. Boom. Two miles from my house.

Credit card charged 30min ago, Verizon Order Status now says this:

And in the app you could authorize a release without signature, if you wanted to....with my choice of course. But I'm totally happy with it sitting at the ups outfit a couple miles down the road.

My tracking number still isn't active. I haven't even gotten the email from Verizon. I found it in my account under my order status. I hope it goes active as I want to know what my options are ASAP.

Did they say what time you could get it at? Can you get it when they open or do you have to wait until the evening?

pickup always starts around 8am for me here in northeastern ohio. The tracking page will say available for pickup i believe.

Ugh, I really wish I could pick up my package.

My problem is, the account isn't in my name (so that's obviously who the phone is "addressed" to), so I have no way of picking it up.

If the account holder writes a formal letter or signs off on the UPS authorization door slip, would I be able to pick it up?

You think they are pulling the plus sizes from their warehouse and sending them UPS and sending the other models from their warehouse Fedex????
naw... it's not the + thing... my daughter's 64gb 6s rose gold is coming via ups, my 64gb 6s space gray via fedex...same delivery address... go figure... may have to do with the color in this case... it's all over the place, but i'm sure it is making sense to people at the respective logistics businesses

If it's anything like any other delivery I deal with, the driver will have X amount of packages going to that particular ups store. So really, I'd imagine it's wherever it falls in their route. I'll just pick it up on my way home. No sweat off my brow.

Here's your options

  • Option 1: Present a government-issued photo ID where the last name and full address (including the suite or apartment number, if applicable) on the ID match the last name and full address on the package.
  • Option 2: Present a government-issued photo ID where the last name matches the last name on the package. If the address on the ID doesn't match the address on the package, please bring proof of residency that matches the address on the package--for example, a current utility bill.
  • Option 3: Present a government-issued photo ID where the full address or name on the ID matches the full address or name on the package. If the last name or full address doesn't match, you will need to provide the package tracking number to the UPS Access Point representative.
  • Option 4: Present a government-issued photo ID and your shipper-provided package release code (if required).*

I added myself as a household member to the my choice. Made an account under my dad with my email addy and added myself. I see no reason they shouldn't give it to me.

Vzw account is under a family plan. I didn't have a choice to change it if I recall

Is it worth the hassle and driving 30 minutes to my local UPS store or just waiting for them to deliver? :p

Oh shoot, just remembered the package isn't addressed to me...But my drivers license still shows the address. Screw it I'll just wait. Too much hassle for a few hours early!

(Thanks for this, btw)

So if I pick it up at the store/facility, I'll do the following (just double checking):
My ID has the same last name and address as the package. The VZW account is under my dad's name, but my last name and address are the same as the package.

I have other forms of ID on hand as well (student ID card, debit cards, etc.) in case they need that. Should I bring another proof of address?

Lol, few hours early for some... For me if I can pick up I'll probably get it 12hrs early and not have sit around all day waiting. 30min drive = well worth it for me :)

Do it! Stop for some breakfast on the way to the store and make it worthwhile :p
