Verizon.com: Preorder thread

Here is my story
9/12 3:02 am EST Order placed for iPhone 6s Space Gray 128gb
9/12 3:03 am EST Confirmation email received
9/14 order delivery estimate updated due to overwhelming demand. Showing 9/25/15
9/19 ~9am EST order showing as completed but no tracking number showing
9/19 order missing completely from VZWs system
9/20 order back in VZWs system showing estimated delivery date of 9/25/15 still no tracking number
9/21 3:10am EST UPS Tracking number received via email. Not active yet
9/21 ~7:45pm EST tracking number is now active. oddly showing a shipped/billed on/label being created on 9/24
 
Hoping mine is activated soon. Even just seeing that is exciting lol

I keep checking in every so often. I also want to see if I can schedule the delivery now so I don't forget about it until Friday morning
 
Oh bluedragon, your from cleveland! im in canton. our orders will probably update around the same time.

this might be a stupid question, but that sounds like your ups my choice account does not have your delivery address on file. for example, my phone is being delivered to my moms house, but my ups account is registered for my house. so i had to go to addresses, add my moms address, and add her name. now, any package going to her will show up under my account. i think you said before its being delivered to your business or something. just asking to make sure you have that address linked to your ups account.

They must have process a boat load of shipments at the same time. I got my shipping email at 12:10 PST.

Actually, yes. It helps to know other people are in the same boat and we're all waiting for Santa (AKA the UPS guy/gal) to come down the driveway and deliver our "presents". This thread is also making me more impatient LOL

Usually about 12-24hrs or so. I was charged last night around 6:30p EST and received the email at 10:30a EST this morning. Now, the tracking could've been up there earlier, but I didn't check My Verizon until about 10:30a (before I even saw the email)

Dont hold out for the 24 hours as a hard deadline though.

When is your ship date? If I'm being charged now, will I get my phone early on the 25th?
 
I have been watching my upgrade eligibility on my account to see if that would give me a clue for the shipment. I was charged on the 19th, and they made my new eligibility on the 20th (07/20/2016)
 
Using UPS MyChoice to hold the package worked fine for me, it's being held at the UPS Customer Center.

I think the Change Delivery action for UPS doesn't work until AFTER they have scanned the package. So maybe tonight or tomorrow?

I'd say it's very likely that you will. As long as the package is out by Thursday afternoon, you're in good shape

My ship date on VZW says the 24th and the email says delivery on the 25th. Sadly, I'm throwing my money on the 25th. I wish it would be delivered on the 24th
