Not sure why but for me and some others it's advertising at $65. MUST be a glitch

JUMP ON THAT!!! Lol. We are seeing the same thing.... $110 for 2 lines

I don't think it's a glitch. Lol. They're fighting back at T-Mobile.

Must be a glitch. And if I lose my grandfathered real unlimited data and tethering I'd be mad. Not sure what that's about. Verizon website all but unusable on my end. Took me ten minutes to get that far ha

It is supposed to be $65.00 and then it will show the line access fee etc. Your line total will be either $85 or $80, depending on whether or not you set up Autopay and paperless bill for single line. If you have a multiline plan, the discount will be $10.

So this is normal?

Its not a glitch. It is the new unlimited data pricing.

The new unlimited data plan was made available today.
Single line plan $65 + 20 line access fee = $85 -$5 if you set up paperless billing and Autopay = $80 + taxes and fees
Multi line $110 + line fees -$10 discount for paperless billing and autopay.

For a single line, the unlimited plan is $65 with line access fee of $20 (or $40 if line is in contract), minus $5 autopay discount.

For shared/family account, the unlimited plan is $110 with each line access fee of $20 (or $40 if line is in contract), minus $10 autopay discount.

No corporate discounts apply aside from military/veteran discounts (and a few government ones it seems).

Why? Seems like it's at least a decent if not a good deal for many.

Well earlier the app said $80 and then they changed it to $65. There's no fine print or asterisk anywhere so that would lead people to think the price just decreased out of nowhere.

Ah, that. Yeah, they are probably adjusting how they are displaying the pricing to be more consistent throughout--show the plan price itself and then have the line access fees separately, as they have been doing with other plans basically.

While I agree that it sucks not being able to use a credit card for that, it's not really sneaky given that technically speaking Verizon offers you a discount for doing that.

I've read somewhere that you can still pay your bill using a credit card if you want to--basically you can sign up for auto-pay and then at any point before auto-pay would kick in (like 3 days before the bill, or whatever you set it to) just pay off your balance using a credit card and that's it (auto-pay wouldn't kick in since there wouldn't be anything due at that point).

that's actually smart! you double dip with points and $5 discount!

Discount from my employer not valid on unlimited plan. Anyone know if this is the case with other carrier's unlimited plans?

I think it is the same with T-Mobile but a few years ago when I had Sprint they allowed using employer for discount not sure if they still offer that though

Yes there was a lot of confusion this morning with people assuming the $80 didn't include line access fees, so it was probably smart of them to change it and make it consistent.

Right and $65.00 sounds better than saying $85.00, marketing tactic huh? lol
It's like the cereal boxes in the stores, I swear there smaller packaging but there the same high price. marketing...

Well it was either that, or announce that they're getting rid of line access fees and just list the total prices for all the plans. But then they would have to go back to having a separate plan for each number of lines.

It's just more consistent with how they've done the pricing for their plans for years now. Had they done it from the beginning there would have been less confusion about it too because of that.

For those stuck on the throttling issue...
[doublepost=1487044979][/doublepost]Is it just me, or did Verizon make some internal tweaks to their app display pages today, even though I didn't see an app update? I swear some of the app pages look different from last night.
