My order is pending due to a credit review. The account is in the wife's name and my name and credit card is on the order. I am an authorized user on this account. 10 years with Verizon and they need to check my credit to add a line and purchase a $300 phone? WTF Verizon?!?!? It'll be tomorrow before my credit is authorized so I am hope the phones I ordered are indeed held in the system for me. No customer service during the biggest device launch in Verizon history. Another solid decision.

I have a pending ordering confirmation number. Don't see ACE number any where. Looks like a woke up at 3 am for nothing.
Identical position here.

Going to bed and hopefully in a few hours, we'll have the e-mail/a saved spot in line. Not much we can do otherwise. :mad:
 
It still just says "Sorry, an error occurred. Please try again."

This is bull.

Must have clicked start my order 50 times, no change.

Ordered around 1:20 because I fail at reading and take a while to read. Right when I hit submit to submit my order,I get an error and I have to do it all over again but the second time,it worked. No email from them yet but I checked on their website and it says my order is in process. Pretty easy process.
 
I upgraded my line on Apple's website, then decided I wanted to add a line so that my wife can have an iPhone as well.
Went over to Verizon, ordered hers and now its a race. Interesting to see if one gets here faster than the other.

Seems Verizon had their act together better than AT&T, atleast so far.

Apple said they had 600,000 pre-orders (not all were for AT&T, but a large portion was), so yes, technical issue were bound to happen when you have that many people placing their order.
 
I finally had to order mine from Apple. I wanted to order through Verizon because their training materials say the phone will arrive "BEFORE or on Feb 10th".

Either way...got my confirmation.....supposed to be here by the 10th, obviously. It was a huge pain in the A$$, but I finally got it.

I was getting pissed!
 
FYI, I ordered at 2:53 am, and here's my "Ace" order number, which appears to be in sequence. I'm number 437.

Pre order stuck on address is invalid?

Not sure what else to do but start screaming...i woke up for this?
 
I ordered at 12am and it still says order is processing, I wonder why I haven't gotten an email yet?

same here. I ordered mine around 11:57. no e-mail yet
when i type in the Order confirmation number to Check my Order status
It doesn't show any ACE# and Location # but just says that order has been received and is in process

i went on a little before 3 am eastern time and placed an order, it got stuck on processing and so i closed out the window and started over. now it seems that i placed 2 orders for the same line, it allowed me to get the discounted price both times. thought i only ordered once because first time it got stuck but now i have two confirmation emails , should i cancel one or just wait and see?

Yep I think we're all in the same boat. Ordered at about 12:02 here in California and ACE number is in the early 2000's. I can log in and see the same "we're processing your order" screen and I also didn't get a confirmation email yet. Probably just a way overloaded system, will wait till the morning to see if the email arrived I reckon.

Good luck all and I hope you're just as excited as I am! This is gonna be awesome.

That happened to me once for a DROID. You will end up getting both phones for the same line. Verizon told me just send one back when you get it.

Go back to where you were ordering the phone,in the top right,it says "Search/Cancel". Click that and then put the confirmation number and your last name and it'll show you the info.

Thanx good to know that I'm not the only one. (now i can go to sleep)
I printed my Order Confirmation, so if something goes wrong
I'm just gonna show it to Verizon as a proof.
