Anyone here know when the orders actually start shipping? I think I might have to put in a 'change of address request' with Verizon, but they are saying I can only do so once the order status changes to 'Shipped'.

I had this issue last time I preordered the X and want it to go way smoother this time.

Ordered via Chat and gave them a separate address other than the one on the account, but the confirmation email still says shipping to the account address.
 
Went through the whole ordering process, got a confirmation number but no email. Verizon is telling me my order payment did not go through. But there was not a payment due, it was going to be billed to my account.
 
Wasn't going to wake up for 5am pre-order because I had a feeling they wouldn't go fast, but I ended up waking up at 5:04am on my own (guess my mind wanted me to get the iPhone asap). Originally ordered the Pro Max 64gb in Gold, but cancelled the order 10 minutes later and ordered the 256gb. Couldn't make up my mind, so I'd rather be safe than sorry with the higher storage. I just checked Verizon's site again because I've been debating on switching to SG and they're still available for 9/20 delivery.

Is there away to change the delivery address if you ordered through Verizon?

ETA: I noticed some people are getting 9/19 dates. I got a 9/19 date when I ordered at 5:09am. I then cancelled and reordered 10 minutes later and got a 9/20 date.

Sometimes, the confirmation email doesn’t come for about 24 hours. Do you see anything when you go to your account and check order status via that confirmation number?

Me too. They're just missing my apartment number on the shipping address. Don't know why. Ugh. Called and they said I couldn't change the shipping address now. Would need to cancel order and reorder. No way. Just hoping FedEx will recognize it since I have a delivery account with the apartment number.

if you have a 9/19-9/20 date it will ship out tuesday or wednesday of next week. if they stick to the way they have done it in the past.

My phone is no longer eligible for upgrade, but that is all....

Dont even worry about it. if you don't plan on switching. Military Members and People that move alot like an unlocked phone so they can move as they please. An unlocked phone allows this and they can go to any carrier they want. honestly 60 days is nothing and I dont understand why people freak out about it.....

You are right. Most people will be unaffected. However, there will be some people who get upset when they go on vacation outside the US, bring their shiny new phone, and when they try to use a much cheaper data plan from another country, it won't work with that sim. And most of these people will not have gone ahead and added the Verizon international plan before they leave.

I had all kinds of problems with the app this morning. Just started hanging, then wouldn’t apply device dollars and then wouldn’t recognize my upgrade eligibility - kept saying I needed to pay the device off in full in order to upgrade. Really Verizon? Really????

I ended up calling in to place the order. Waited so long to get approval to waive the activation fee that I forgot about the Device Dollars. By this time, I needed to leave to get to the office. Called Customer Care back on the drive in and got the $85 applied to my bill - best they could do since they can’t access device dollars for whatever system reason.

After all that, the 11 Pro Max Silver 256GB is still delivering Sept 20th.

Good outcome, but Verizon has become an absolute mess.

Now how do I handle being out of town on the 20th and not getting home until late?

Download pre-auth paper and sign it and leave it on the door. If you’re a ups my choice member you can do that via the app. Carrier varies some years I got fedex some years I got ups

Thanks, I have both MyChoice and FedEx Delivery Manager. Last year, I believe it was FedEx who delivered. but when I ordered the Watch, it came UPS. Or vice versa.

I’ll have them hide it behind my big flower pot just to be safe. Never had anything stolen, but this is too much to leave in the open. I only need it left for a short time anyway. I’ll have my husband check during his lunch hour (he works close to home) or just grab it once he’s off.
 
Mine says deliver by: 09/19/19
Probably a system error.
Don’t care if it arrives on or a few days after.

I woke up at 5AM to order. I had my laptop near my bed so I started on that, but every time i tried to submit the order, I would get an error. I tried both Paypal and CC and it kept lagging and taking about 10 seconds and then it would spit out one of several errors. Eventually I got one saying I tried too many times and to wait awhile.

I then grabbed my phone and tried the Verizon app. No matter what I tried, it kept saying my line wasn't eligible for an upgrade.

Lastly, I used their mobile site on my phone and flew through the process. I used Apple Pay and my payment went through in about 1 second and I got my email confirmation.
