Video iPod Really Coming on Oct 12th?

Hi. I belive there will be video on your current colored screen iPods (won't be necessarily a new iPod coz' they just launch Nano) and that it will have MTV music downloads because some songs in the current iTunes promote hit singles with videos. For more information on this prediction log on to:

Interesting note here:
I was reading pm a few message boards that Motorola is rolling out Set-top Boxes that can move DVR content anywhere in the house. Included with that is the ability to move vieos off the DVR and onto a mobile device (the demonstrator used a cell phone). Since APlle is working with Moto on the cell phone, maybe they are working on an agreement to download content from DVRs until Apple makes it own. That would add a whole other level of usefullness.

I agree with alot of you in this thread. I would much rather see 80GB than video. Of course both would be the ultimate.

It's not the small screen. I would love to have something that plays Quicktime / H.264 from Apple in a handheld. Ever try to scrub thru video with Windows Media to find something.
If they go to video iPod, I think it should start at 40 gig, not 30 gig. 30 gig seems small, for video. I have a 30 gig photo, and it is almost entirely filled.
I'm dying to complete my switch with a G5 at work ...adding *anything* to the Dual 2.3 (including a simple RAM boost) knocks the wait to 7 - 10 days in the EDU store ... I've also toyed with the idea of going with a 15" as a portable-desktop option, but the wait for those is up to 1-2 weeks! Maybe something really is up.
And I would definitely be interested in an 80 GB iPod, I just picked up a super portable Amplifier that has now nicely exposed the limitations of my current mp3 settings ...need some room to go all Apple lossless !

uggg, honestly it doesn't matter what's announced tommoro, it could be a freaking 22" dual core-g5 powerbook as well as video iPods and people would still be like "what a dissapointment apple! Maby I should switch dell"

I hope they fix the bugs with video in iTunes after the event such as exiting full screen mode after one video in Party Shuffle and (feature) playing video on a second monitor. I'm also interested in the fact the he talked about replacing the old product line. He didn't sound like it was just going to be a 5th generation iPod, but sounded more like we're going to take a trip back to 2001 tomorrow.
