I hope not. The in-ear headphones that came with my S3 actually helps blocking outside noise and doesn't come out off my ears when I move around. I would call it a downgrade if it happens.

Ah, the plug type earbuds. I agree.

Nothing beat in-ear for ear damage.

Nonsense.

It actually helps prevent ear damage because you don't have to crank your volume up as it isolates your music from the background noise. You don't need turn the volume up as high unlike with earbuds in noisy places.

I don't care.
I have just got an Apple-In-Ear.
...okay. May be I have wasted my money:(?

But...is there any tips fit this new Headphone?!

wow, that design is very bad indeed. apple seems to get backward. stop suing companies. you will be perished by lawsuit after all. it's only ****ing US. you can't win out of countries. I really expect that apple will be back to 1997. they lost their mind, throw away innovation (wait, they never invented anything. just adapted existed tech, made better). so apple tries to ban Samsung galaxy s3, note 2 as well? look at people's reaction, and visit at stores. they all sold out comparing to iphone whatever. fanboys, stop blaming. it's all consumer choice. you fanboys are only very small number in terms of product consumption. adroid base phone still dominates the market more than 56%. iphone is only 17% worldwide. it's only phenomenon in the US. it's the same way for macbook pro and other macs sale as well. it's only 10% in the US. for worldwide? it's not even 5%. ****ing Apple should be disappeared if they continue to sue. patent law is very different from each country. it only works in the US which apple want to monopolize. you know, it's illegal. I think that Tim Cook should be resigned. what this guy knows? money, money, money. dumb****.

I'm pretty sure I read the exact same post over at GSMArena a few days ago. I'd say you're a fanboy but then again why would post the exact same thing here?

Hmm... Trolling Company it is then. So how much is Samsung paying you??

they look EXTREMELY 80's futuristic. I am loving the design. I always thought apples designs were always somethign that could've been in an 80's movie set in the future. these headphones showcase that completely.

Look if they are any bit better than the current version its a step up....if they aren't, there is a place called Target or Wal-mart and I heard they sell headphones...

Calling the 6th iPhone the iPhone 5 is as wrong as calling the 5th iPhone the iPhone 4S.... Which is to say not wrong at all.

The next iPhone will almost certainly be called "iPhone" but it's easier for people to understand iPhone 5 so that's why we call it that from time to time.

arn

Arn, when you need to decide how to approach reporting on a story just ask yourself, "What would a real journalist or editor do?"

BTW:

"Apple is widely expected to announced the next generation iPhone on September 12th."

I like how each time you revisit the same rumor it somehow grows stronger and eventually into fact. Maybe I could review for us all the evidence of an upcoming announcement. Since not only is the topic of the announcement a rumor and the name of the rumored product a rumor, the announcement date itself is a rumor.

Did I sum it up enough? Yup

If these are made of the same hard plastic as the old ones they will hurt the same way, in ear soft silicon are much more comfortable.

They look extremely uncomfortable, doesn't look Apple-like one bit.

Obviously you've never seen or tried the Apple in-ear phones back in 2004? They were EXTREMELY awkward.

I wouldn't be surprised if these were authentic. I'd be more surprised if they did fit properly in your ears!

Better yet, I'd be flabbergasted if they lasted longer than a month... seeing that they're now assembled in Vietnam -- maybe they will!

Apple earphones have pretty much always sucked..

I agree too. There's no way the next iPhone will be called "iPhone 5". I understand how the majority of people will assume the number 5, but won't happen. In reality, and technically, there are higher chances of the next iPhone being called iPhone 6, but I doubt that either.

My money is betting on the "new iPhone", because of the new screen size and with the "new" iPad :p

Look at the back of every iPhone made since the first one. What does it say?

The design is certainly interesting looking.

Beyond that, I'll just wait and see what's in the box on game day.

Lol you guys saying they are uncomfortable and have not even tried them out yet.

Looks very similar to Boses' in-ear headphone ;)

The shape certainly makes me curious. Apple knows how to design products. I'm sure the market will be flooded with the knock off design earphones as soon as it's released.
