umm quick question

in order for me to upload a hd video to youtube, I have to, upload video to my computer? then to youtube from my computer?

maybe this has been asked already but I couldn't find it.

if not what is the process

that's the process.

pixelpipe will allow you to do it direct from the iphone in HD (I think there is a 200mb limit) over wifi or 3G.

just to clarify. the orientation will lock once its recording.

also you can double tap on the video screen and it will 'zoom out' to its full widescreen. This will help with composure

Also, tap to focus/expose will work in record and non-record modes but it will create a shake. no matter how lightly I try it will have some shake from the light tap.

Just bought iMovie and did a quick test with some footage I took while riding my bike. And I ordered a mount for my bime so be prepare for driving shots!:D

Shot an entire audition reel lasting about 12 minutes with the iPhone 4 then edited in iMovie, talk about amazing. Built a stand for the iphone using 2 shoe boxes, 8 magazines, a camera stand to place the iPhone on top of for balance and a table. Weirdest thing ever but it shot so crisp, clear and wonderfully it destroys anything else on the go.

I took a large butterfly clip and made some mods:

- Pre-bent outward, leaving a 1/4in gap at rest
- Used duct tape and some thin cardboard (like a business card) to cover the clip edges to prevent phone scratches
- Drilled a hole in the base, small enough that a tripod camera mount can screw into

Then just snap the mount into the tripod and its good to go.
