Yes I have the same issue with my PowerBook DSLD with an Radeon 9700 (so no exclusively Nouveau issues only). That's a point that I like in Void, that you can choose your kernel in the GRUB screen an test it / use it until the maintainer solves those problems.Guys, 5.13 broke my X on PowerBook A1010 NVIDIA Corporation NV34M [GeForce FX Go5200] (rev a1).
Thanks for the browser suggestion and finally an alternative, but in my PowerBook DSLD with an G4 1.67Ghz isn't much speedier comparing with @wicknix browsers (thanks for that!).Eolie
Jacadcaps (MorphOS) and Daniel Kolesa (Void PPC Linux) have fixed the JavaScript BE regressions and have added some big endian patches to WebKitGTK. The Linux WebKit web browser with all these big endian changes is called Eolie and is available for Void PPC Linux. This browser is very fast and can also display javascript-intensiv web sites.
Hi. You could use Eolie instead. It's in the official repository. It think colors will always be messed in Firefox because G5 are big-endians.Hi All, I managed to get Void working on my G5 with FX5200. It works really well apart from the colours not being correct in firefox when displaying some pictures. Initially they appear looking normal and then within a couple of seconds they change to having a blue tint.
As per previous posters comments I tried switching to version 4 of the Kernel but that didn't make any difference.
Does anyone know where the problems lies? Is it specific to firefox or a driver issue? Thought I'd post before doing any more troubleshooting, will do some more troubleshooting if nobody knows.
Thanks

My limited understanding is that colours are read in the wrong order, making them appear like a negative (FF0000 for red becomes 0000FF, blue).I will give that a try, thanks. What is it that Firefox doesn't like about big-endians?

Finally - reinstalled. Working KDE !!! BTW, I've set hold on grub & grup-powerpc-ieee1275 packages, last installation of Void crashed when I've made packages upgrade.

I've never made something special. I'm using Quad, it's PCI-Ex. Your system is AGPPro + PCI-X, right? What's the output of "lsmod | grep nouveau" in terminal? Do you have firmware packages installed?
