Confirmation email says 9/19 delivery. Online status says "processing, no shipment information, check back tomorrow"

The "check back tomorrow seems very audacious on Verizon's part"
You're fine, you should get a tracking number sometime between tonight and Thursday. They can ship the phone Thursday and it be in your hands Friday.

Sure seems to me like those of us buying off contract are getting pushed to the end of the line, which is kind of BS. I didn't want to order from Verizon anyway, only did because Apple's site wasn't working. Pretty lame and kinda shady from Verizon, but I've been with them long enough to know that's par for the course.

I ordered off contract, and everything has been smooth for me. I suspect it has more to do with availability of color. My sense is 6+ space gray 64gb is the most popular color/size combo, and I think they just ran out faster for that. I ordered gold 128gb, which seems like the least popular color (probably because of the god-awful white antenna lines on the back), and relatively less popular than the 64gb.

Seems like I have one of the smoothest orders on here. Ordered at 12:11am, 6+ 128GB gold. Got 9/19 delivery date at order, and 9/19 delivery date in email confirmation about 1 hr after ordering.

Received shipping notification ~8:30am Monday morning PDT. The tracking number wasn't working all day yesterday, but now UPS shows shipped date of 9/18 (two days from now) with next day air saver delivery. The notice is pretty clear - says they have created a shipping label, but haven't received the actual shipment yet. I take that as completely normal, and would expect the device / box / package to get into UPS hands Thursday, for delivery Friday.

My CC was charged yesterday at midnight for $949, as expected. Look like everything is on track. I'm in NorCal (San Fran).

Maybe it's just me, but it sure seems like a lot of the troubled orders are upgrade / contract / edge / etc orders. Seems like a lot of people got punted over to credit / fraud review or whatever and that put them to the back of the line. I think it's just a lot easier to buy the phone outright, because that probably skips a whole bunch of review steps for the order.

Darn it all seems like they shipped my gold 128gb 6+ to you by accident :-D Kindly ask them to ship it to me instead haha since my order still shows in process.

First time poster, have been lurking on this thread since the beginning,
Ordered on 9/12/14 within first 40 minutes of pre order 12-1am PST
Order location W781001 , with a deliver by date of 10/14/14.
Iphone Plus Space gray 16 GB, renewed two year contract.

Next morning got an email from fraud department like many others here,
called in to verify purchase was from me and legit. Since then no charge to CC
or any change in my order status on the Verizon website, just stuck at order received and in process expected ship date not available at this time.

Anyone else in this same scenario from the Bay Area in California? I'm begging to wonder if the theories some have brought up might be true about if you live closer to a distribution facility the later you receive your CC charge and shipping info since it will arrive to you sooner, you know logistics and all that.

My order number was 111XXX

Thanks:D

I had this similar thing happen with my cc. Got the fraud call & called to verify. Then I immediately called Verizon to make sure my phone was still coming. Verizon had me resubmit my cc info because the original transaction had been stopped by my cc company.

12 hours after I did this, I had a shipping number. (I am on the east coast)

I ordered gold too, and I kinda like how the antenna lines pop out. Maybe im just weird hah.

Haha, manufacturing plant...yeah that's associated and still 4 links down the chain of the Webstore-> OMS -> ERP -> Logistics -> Plant, so you're still not really there. But that's fine.

Your* long rambling really doesn't say much. As I clearly stated, anything before your confirmation email isn't confirmed, and not tied to inventory. As I bolded you admit your email said 10/7, so that's what it is. All dates on the site are just the webstore giving you info in snapshots it gets from the OMS. You are trying to hold that as firm delivery date, but it's not, it's estimated. If you call they will tell you that, and I will as well since that holds nearly universally true in the space.
Why some people are shipping after you is anyone's guess. Verizon did take the entire preorder system down for a short time to fix some bugs (notably the Loyalty one that hit many) so what orders were in the feed que during that time and how they were processed on resume will forever be up to speculation.

Some time soon, everyone will have their phones....and let's remember perspective, it's just a phone.

If it's estimated, then they should say estimated, and if they're going to take preorders, then they should process them in order of "first come, first serve." That's all I'm saying.

And as I said, the 10/7 in my confirmation email didn't even bother me that much initially, because it is just a phone, of which I have plenty (I use multiple devices pretty consistently for development). Honestly, this conversation is more annoying than Verizon's bungled preorder process; there's no reason to jump down my throat because I added my story to the litany of evidence that Verizon (and everyone else, really) messed up this preorder process.

Stupid people at verizon cancelled my order. Saying they have to re submit it and i cant get jumped to 9/19 shipping. She said there is no way they can do that. I spoke to several reps and all haven giving me completely different info. Im just going to cancel and go with a different company. Also leave some negative feedback with the better business bureau. This is ridiculous. I preorder art 3am 9/12. I verified with fraud div the same morning. Ive been told nothing but ******** responses by them. Verizon can go screw them self.

I've been trying to just check this post every now and again and not get too invested while they sorted out pre-orders, but getting a little more worried now.

I ordered a space grey 6+ 64GB at 12:06am PST showing 9/19 delivery, and received a confirmation e-mail at 1:19am PST showing 9/19 as well, but that's the last that's happened.

-No pending charges for any amount
-No order history in my verizon
-Order status still the same no changes
-No tracking info

Is this still normal or have I fallen through the cracks?

same no pending charge, no order history, no change to order status... nada.

FYI, i've ordered space gray 6+ 16GB at 2:58am EST showing 9/19 delivery, and received a confirmation e-mail at 5:15am EST with 10/14 delivery date

If i go to a verizon store and buy an iPhone 6+ outright for full price and then wait till the afternoon to see if my preorder arrives, can I return the full price purchase and just keep the preorder if it shows up? At the same time if the preorder doesn't show up, can i return the online preorder and then activate the full price phone?

I just went and asked that and the very rude lady at my Verizon store told me Apple never sells these iphones for full retail upon release

I think after dealing with the idiots on the phone and the idiots in the store I'd say they are burnt out on it all and sick of us all asking them to do their jobs.

Well just got off the phone with Verizon CS inquiring when I might see an order confirmation and cc charge for the two 6+'s I ordered promptly on 9/12. I explained, like many here, I only have my pre-sale confirmation with delivery date of 9/19.

He stated on his end he can see that my order has been processed, I should see an email soon and a charge to my cc.

He did tell me though in his system my phones are scheduled to ship on 9/19 not delivered on 9/19. I asked if he was sure... he said "yes". Hope he's wrong.

He did say they are instructed to tell people who order the 6+ now to not expect the phone until mid november.

On the phone with verizon again. Every time its different info.

So now Im being told that even though my order went through very shortly after pre-orders went live, my account was affected by the ECPD error or whatever it was and my order didnt post until sometime after 6AM. Even though I have a confirmation email of the order almost immediately after the order went through.

So despite 2 reps telling me I would have my device by 9/19 Im now being told that the ship date is 10/14.

Let me just hop on the UPS website and see if I can re-route it right now . . . :)

He is wrong. The phones will deliver by 9/19, this is confirmed by all the poeple with 9/19 in their tracking information. Reps don't know what they are talking about. This has happened with every iPhone preorder, the same discussion about whether it will ship on or deliver on the release date.

Point in case when I first was going to place my order over the phone, I later decided to do it online since I got past the EDCP error, the guy tried and talk me into $19.99 overnight shipping since he was convinced it wouldn't ship till the 19th. I told him nice try bro this isn't my first iPhone preorder and I hung up.

The Better Business Bureau is not a real agency. It's a completely commercial for-profit company. They once offered my business an instant "A+" rating if I just paid a yearly fee.

VZW Order Status Thread

Hope my phone makes it's fedex flight! Based on fedex tracking info and Newark Airport flight plans LA would be a logical stopover on its way to me in the bay area

VZW Order Status Thread

I saw a FedEx Freight Big Rig in front of my apple store this morning unloading pallets with lots of employees around it. Seems like some stores have them

http://9to5mac.com/2014/09/16/exclu...etail-store-gameplan-for-iphone-6plus-launch/

The apple stores don't even have their stock yet:

As early as Wednesday leads me to believe some stores won't even receive their inventory until Thursday.

I don't think we have too much to worry about.

Ok, all of you with Ace Order Location: D771001, post your updates here, we'll keep it in this area to keep everyone updated and "hopefully" sated...

My status still says: We received your order and it is in process.
My email delivery was 9/19.

Thanks!

Not sure why the order date says 9/14, but my confirmation email says 9/12. Anyways here's the full details under "My Verizon" order status. This is being shipped to the Seattle area

Is anyone else getting this nonsense??

Seriously. I came to find out the verizon reps dont know anything. I think they are just winging it.
