orderCluster is just a region - east, south, midwest, west (E,S,M,W) - useless info to you, doesn't correlate to squat as far as order tracking.
 
You actually do not know that they are not processing 'first come, first serve'. You just don't know where in the process 'first come' is being applied. It is possible that preorders went into a sort of 'holding' table until they were batch uploaded to something that actually hits against inventory. As you are so knowledgeable about everything (I read your prior post), you know that db writes do not necessarily occur in the order in which data entry (your order screen) was performed.

Still waiting for my my silver 6+ 128 GB and a space gray 6+ 128 GB. NOTHING yet. Email says 9/19. Online it says: Estimated ship: not available. So frustrating. Verizon said there is no problem with my credit card and everything is on track for 9/19. She said the email is the most accurate source of info. *shrugs* So many conflicting reports so who knows.

Yeah, after watching this for days, very few of the 6+ 128gb space grey have actually shipped customers who ordered it directly through Verizon. Many of us, myself included, have zero information other than the first pre-order confirmation email. The Verizon c/s res might as well have been a robot.

I'm hoping/guessing that maybe crates of the 6+ 128 space grey will be showing up in the next 24 hours (Wednesday into Thursday).
 
What if they really are on the ball and we all end up with our phones according to our email confirmation and this is all for nothing? :) We are all in our hyped up bubble right now while verizon is preparing according to orders... There is still time.:)

I accidentally ordered two. I went to upgrade and forgot to change the color from space gray to silver, so dashed back and upgraded another line with the one I wanted. I'll swap them out when they get here. The other line may be keeping the phone, but I am not sure yet. Both emails say 9/19. Actual time stamp is 3:45 on the first and the second is stamped 4:44. BOTH orders were placed by 3:11 AM EDT. The actual order numbers are only like 905 apart.

I was told by a Verizon supervisor that they do not have any of these at all due to Apple not supplying them and the earliest they will be sent out is for 10/14. You can call the Internet order customer service line at 866-338-7390 to verify.


If you are calling with questions about your order, this number has proven the most helpful. It's a direct number to a customer service that pull yours order right up and seems to have more precise information. At least the rep I talked to gave me answers that didn't sound made up and more through and more accurate than the *611 so far. Just thought I'd pass it along since it was posted a few pages back.
 
If more people knew how to perform the direct call to Verizon's order status page with the method below, we'd have more accurate information regarding which phones are actually shipping, which orderCluster they're coming from, regionId, etc.

Unfortunately this isn't any good for myself. It can't even find the order in the system. Only thing that works for me is the link from the email.

It's happened many times....iPhone 4, 4s,5,5s, countless Androids....... we should all just:)
 
I'm thinking of doing the same thing but mines is fedex. Is it only after a certain time they let you pick it up or even when they open can you pick it up? Deliveries in my neighborhood is usually around 5pm and I will go crazy waiting that long lol

I don't know if Fed Ex allows you to do it or not. Usually there has to be at least one delivery attempt. I signed up for "UPS My Choice" for free and it gives a lot of delivery options, including being held at will call.

I've called Verizon three times now, with expected shipping/delivery dates of 10/7 and 10/14. 10/14 is what I had in my email, even though I ordered within the first 20 minutes of preordering. Isn't looking too good for a Friday delivery. :(
 
Here's the way I see it: ALMOST no one that has ordered a 6 plus 128 GB has shipped (At least according to all the people who have posted on this thread). There's no way all of us would randomly not get ours on the target date. If there was some manufacturing error, Apple and Verizon would have known about it before they said 9/19 shipping date for our phones. I have a good feeling about seeing something change tomorrow. Fingers crossed!:)

yeah I'm pretty sure our orders will ship pretty close to the 14th. I definitely know my phone will not be here Friday but that's fine..long as they don't push me back to Nov.

As others have said, literally the same exact thing has happened with Verizon on previous iPhone releases. People come here and post these huge threads with uncertainties and it turns out the phones just appear at doorsteps on release day. That's usually followed by the "OMG battery life is terribllleeee" after using it for 45 minutes.
 
Well just got off the phone with Verizon CS inquiring when I might see an order confirmation and cc charge for the two 6+'s I ordered promptly on 9/12. I explained, like many here, I only have my pre-sale confirmation with delivery date of 9/19.

He stated on his end he can see that my order has been processed, I should see an email soon and a charge to my cc.

He did tell me though in his system my phones are scheduled to ship on 9/19 not delivered on 9/19. I asked if he was sure... he said "yes". Hope he's wrong.

He did say they are instructed to tell people who order the 6+ now to not expect the phone until mid november.

Mid November? That's BS cause you can go preorder one right now at their site and it's October

So I got my tracking number and shipment email for my 6+/128/gold. Noticed that the shipping label is for shipment on 9/18 but its for next day air. So i'm hoping it should still get here on friday

Spoke with a very nice rep who could only tell me the order was there, not back ordered. Could offer nothing else. I have had no movement (like many others) on my 6+ SG 128 since email confirmation (9/19 delivery). I ordered around 3:20 AM on the 12th.

Within 2 minutes of hanging up on that call, I got an email from Verizon CORE (credit and order review) that my order had been completed and that I would get an email when package ships....had an order completion date of 9/16.

I don't really believe in coincidences....
