What does it mean that the $1 pending charge on my American Express charge is now gone? I am still showing "processing" like I was last Friday after ordering at 2:57 a.m. EST :(

Ordered around 20-til 4, Eastern, after the ECPD error for the majority of the preorder time. Did 128GB Silver 6+ on Edge with a $300 down payment and it showed a deliver by of 9/19 throughout the entire order process. Haven't gotten anything since my confirmation email:

When clicking the "Check your order Status" link immediately after receiving my confirmation email (which came at 5:07, so in line with those of you that had the 1.5 hour lag between order and email) it showed a deliver by of 10/14.

In the days since my $0.00 CC authorization has fallen off and the "Not Available At this Time" delivery has been listed. I'm not overly stressed about any of this, I just find this whole process fascinating. This is my first iPhone launch NOT being a Verizon employee, so I'm just thrilled to not be waiting 3+ months to even be able to order.
 
We should all post our ace order locations and the phone configuration and color and see based on who's got shipping / tracking info yet and if it is based on how close we are to the shipping hubs, something to do other than complain at least for me I guess:D
 
So I've been stuck in the same boat as those whose orders went through within 10 minutes of midnight PST, received an email with a 9/19 date but have heard nothing since then and receive a shipping information status of "not available at this time."

I just called the internet order department phone number that folks have been sharing and the rep verified that my 6+ 128gb silver is still scheduled to ship for delivery on Friday. He said that all the dates are in his system even though they're not showing on the order status page.

Take it with a grain of salt but it's a nice bit of comfort. I'm extra impatient as I've had every iPhone since the 3g and never received a preorder on launch day. Maybe this will be the first!

EDIT: My order location is N211401 with an order number of 9X,XXX.

My theory is just we're all so close to Newark (where it's FedEx/UPS) has a huge sorting facility, so we're not priority as far as printing labels.
I'm hoping that's the case..
 
Question:

I ordered an iPhone 6 over the phone with verizon and for some reason I wasn't charged tax. My credit card was charged but it was just the retail price of the phone $849.

I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience or if verizon will charge tax separately?

Are you a priest or a pastor by any chance?

Yep, I'm in location code D771001 and I've gotten nothing other than the initial confirmation email (which says it should be delivered by 9/19). I'm hoping that they're working on our region soon so that we can start to see tracking numbers tonight or tomorrow.

The thing is, I haven't seen a lot of people getting shipping info for 16GB iPhone 6's... or is it that not a lot of people got this configuration?
 
Ordered a 128 GB iPhone 6+ in Silver at approx 3:07 AM...got email confirmation around 4:33 AM...as of today, NOTHING - no tracking number, no charge on credit card...I've called several times and they have no information, other than to tell me my order is still in the process of being processed...argh!

You expect them on the 19th when you ordered 6 hours after presales began? That's a good one! LOL

I never stated I expected them on the 19th I was just referencing time frames and what to expect for delivery. Wasn't trying to give the impression we were expecting our phones on the 19th.

I have the same location code and have had a tracking number for my phone since Monday morning. I'm in the Hampton Roads area of VA. I ordered a 64GB Plus in Space Grey and received a 9/19 date on my confirmation email.

ordered my sons last Friday on vzw site... received email saying it would be here the 19th. status updated yesterday to cancelled. after 2 hours of phone calls they said it was because the terms and conditions for EDGE weren't accepted. apparently a separate email and text are sent after the order for you to accept the terms... dumbest thing I ever heard. why would that not just be apart of the ordering process??? had to reorder and put to the back of the line. they gave me a $75 credit... big whoop!

it was just to verify you have a active card. Nothing to worry they said as I called earlier.

I got a notice from Verizon this morning as well as a Fed Ex tracking number. It left Coatsville PA at 1:30PM EST on route to a warehouse in Dallas for a 9/19 delivery by 3PM CST.
I am in Texas and ordered a IP 6+ 128GB Gold.
I am really surprised how fast this moved when it did not move for several days.

My mom ordered her phone in a verizon store at 10am on Friday. Her phone is showing delivery tomorrow. It is a gold 16gb 6.

I hope those who ordered the 16gb have enough data cause iOS 8 is massive needing 5.8GB free. It looks as if the 64GB plus is the most backordered

I have the same charge. I was hoping it meant the order would ship soon. I guess not. Mine isn't suppose to ship until 10/7. One can only hope.

I think there's just a disconnect between someone answering the phone in a call center vs those who actually work in sorting facilities for UPS/FedEx. I'm sure they're just as clueless as us, and pretty much told to say whatever it takes to satisfy us. The metrics they measure their agents are I've heard are intense.
I'll still be refreshing like a maniac, and post if I get any tracking info for our order zone!
 
Nothing here and if we don't get them on the 14th at least that's when I'll get annoyed. I wasn't expecting anything sooner then the 14th which is why I delayed my vacation plans because I was leaving on the 11th. It cost me $250 to change all the reservations.

When your phone arrives Friday, you should call Verizon and tell the CSR you are really pissed your phone came and demand they pay you the $250! It will probably make their day - and show up in their newsletter. :D
 
1st attempt at a jump the line request due to ECPD error with Internet Orders. On hold...

I hope you understand that you will be bumping someone else down if your request is successful. Everyone either logged on very early (before 3:05 AM EDT) or had to deal with the ECPD errors. Why should you be given preferential treatment?

There are tons of people flooding VZs own forum about this. They won't do it. I tried when they called me back after it was fixed when I ordered. Reason they fall on is they have no way of knowing when you originally tried ordering, which frankly, is fair. As you said, a ton people had that issue. Life goes on.
