WOO HOO... Got my tracking numbers

My three phones are on their way!!

Will be delivered on Friday via FedEx.

The tracking appeared about 2:45pm ET today... wonder if my phone call to Internet Sales around Noon had anything to do with that? Probably not.
 
Just overwhelmed by the over obsession over a phone being in hand on Friday and the unwillingness for people to wait. Tens of thousands of people had that error you had. I had it too. Verizon can't possibly push everyone's order forward whom claims they had that error. It is chaos as it is already. Doing that would completly negate the line that was set by ordering. They may as well just do it by lottery or pick a name out of a hat. Wait in line patiently like the rest of us man. :)

Jump the line request successfully submitted for both my 6+ 128's. BOOM!

I'm interested in how this works out...with orders already fulfilled and shipped for 9/19 I doubt the "jump the line" request will do much if anything. Especially for the 128GB 6+ which seems to have scarce inventory.
 
And again I wish people were this understanding. I say this b/c going into work on Friday at Best Buy, I know I'm gonna get yelled at by angry customers b/c we didn't get enough iPhones in for everybody. As if Best Buy, Verizon, AT&T ect are purposely doing this.

heh, I used to work for Best Buy as the only Gaming Supervisor at my local store. They eliminated my position company wide. Took my severance and never looked back.

They explained to me they only do this if you had a previous order that some how faulted due to Verizon's error and not yours. They then take that spot you had in line and place you back into it, provided your spot was also in the first batch.

Edit: Also, I had this done for me after they created a new order. I just got a tracking number this morning, for those of you that don't buy it. I ordered at 11:55 PST.

I'm working there right now, whilst getting ready to head back to school. Don't plan on being in retail forever lol education is my number 1 priority
 
Recap of my story:

Got on pre order page at 2:56 am EST, order completely finished for a 128GB Space Grey iPhone 6+ and confirmed by 3:00am, sent confirmation email later that day with 9/19 ship day. Then on monday, sent email saying order is cancelled, then shortly later email with "due to high demand your order has been delayed until 11/4.

Talked to multiple reps late monday and early tuesday, all absolutely clueless about what was going on. One said that Verizon would not be receiving ANY 6+'s until mid october. Was given apology and $30 bill credit for my troubles.

Finally spoke to fraud and online orders dept on the 877 number tuesday night. She said that she was just let known by her supervisor that there was a glitch in the fraud departments system where every order that was flagged for a fraud review was sent a cancellation notice erroneously. She said that while there was no way for me to personally check my order status due to the screwup, all of the orders that were affected by this glitch are still on track to be delivered for their originally given ship dates. I begged but she said there was no way for her to give me a functioning order number or tracking number of any kind for my own records.

Decided to give the same dept a call today to check up on things. The rep I spoke with today mirrored what the rep said last night about the glitch in the system. She then said that I have to give her some information so that she can fill out a "form" to send to the order team in order to proceed with my order and get any information about the order. I asked her if she could check my order status now and she said there was no way to do it, however she has been told that the majority of the orders will still be sent out for shipment by friday. She said that I would hear back within 24 hours with more information about things.

So much fun.

yep, I'm smelling it too, ya'all My order number is 917XX. and I haven't seen any movement on my iPhone 6 Plus 16gb SG. Nada , Zilch except the same as everyone else with a October date. :eek: and I done ordering 12:15 hrs night of the pre order. I say Post you shipping. or it didn't happen on this particular version. Only 2 people have done this so far. :p

Didn't you have the exact same situation as me? If so you should read my post history, I was skeptical because my ship date showed 11/4, but I got a tracking number this morning and it shows 9/19 delivery.

Tbh, I feel for anybody who works at Verizon, AT&T, Best Buy, Sprint, and an Apple retail store this weekend. It's gonna be hectic. I'm just hoping that people are gonna be understanding to the fact that they may not get a phone this weekend. I doubt it but hey one can dream. This is basically a preview of Black Friday, tbh lol. ###
 
iPhone 6 64GB/128GB Gold still shows 9/19 delivery on Verizon Pre-Order website. The 128GB silver as well. Looks like gold isn't popular this year.

Unfortunately people will raise all hell because they HAVE TO get the phone Friday or the earth will cease to exist. I wonder how many arrests will be made over upset impatient customers causing trouble because of they don't get the phone Friday their life will lose all meaning.
 
I finally have a tracking number under online status. Maybe I can clarify some information for everyone.

1. I preordered at around 2:45a.m. central time. It would have been earlier, but I was unable to find a way to preorder more than 1 phone on edge at a time and i needed 2 phones. I decided to just order regular 2 year contract.

2. I received a confirmation email a couple hours later stating 9/19 delivery.

3. I checked under online status about 6 hours later and it showed a 10/7 delivery online. Then a couple hours later that status changed to "Order in processing, no shipping information".

4. 2 Days ago, the design of the status page changed but still said order processing. The design has a left column that has an empty space for where tracking number can go, and on the right column it said "still processing, check back tomorrow". This change in status page correlates to a credit card charge for the purchase of both phones including tax that occurred on the same day. From my understanding, the credit card charge means that the phone is being sent out.

5. I never received an email with tracking information. Instead, I received an email today that asked me to confirm my email address. I clicked confirm and then checked online status. Online status shows tracking information now.

6. Tracking information says my phone was shipped on the 14th. 3 days ago, which correlates with the credit card charge.

So if you are wondering whether or not your phone has been shipped and you will receive it on the 19th, I believe there are 2 potential indicators. 1 indicator is your status page changing in format to showing a 2 column, empty tracking info on the left and "processing, check back tomorrow" on the right. 2nd indicator is a credit card charge for the full amount including tax.

If you notice either of those indicators, I believe that you can count on getting your phone on the 19th.

I have the 2nd indicator since 09/12 because I pre-ordered in store and my CC was immediately charged. Unfortunately I haven't been picked by VZW to "cehck back tomorrow".

I'm in the Bay Area, CA. If you didn't talk to CS, you should. As long as your order has an expected ship date, and you talked to CS and they told you you've been expedited you should be good. They said the "jump the line" request is not really a request, more like an order. But, they will only put it in if you have an original order with the first batch, and if it was due to Verizon error and not yours.

Edit: I did EDGE, so no charge. I'm probably going to put a down payment once I get the phone.
 
Just got Fedex tracking for delivery by 3:00pm Friday!!! I ordered at 2:57am Friday and completed the order by 3:15am. I think I had a little too much to drink so it took a while. I ordered 2 iPhone 64GB 6+ Space Gray and 1 iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray. I received an email an hour later with the 9/19 deliver by date. My status was processing and unavailable at this time until Sunday evening. I received an email that they couldn’t charge my card. I called CS and they said check with my credit card company so I did and they said everything was good. I called CS again and they couldn’t charge then for some reason. Called CS the next morning and she charged it successfully for the full amount and said I should get shipping info within a few hours. Well the status was “Your order is processing, payment not taken yet” since Monday morning until about 30 minutes ago. Shipping info for Fedex finally showed up. I was about to give up hope. No shipping email yet, but the status page says it shipped 9/15 which is strange. Good luck to everyone else! :)
