I hope you understand that you will be bumping someone else down if your request is successful. Everyone either logged on very early (before 3:05 AM EDT) or had to deal with the ECPD errors. Why should you be given preferential treatment?

I got the same error as you..
I just decided that it wasnt worth losing any sleep over and went back to bed.

Yeah, I still have wait till 10/7 or earlier for it; but at least it won't affect my billing cycle till next month..

This was a Verizon issue that prevented a lot of people from completing orders. They even tweeted about it when it was resolved. As a consumer trying to give a company over $1,000 for 2 new phones I think they should be obligated to at least trying to help me out.

Yep, I'm in location code D771001 and I've gotten nothing other than the initial confirmation email (which says it should be delivered by 9/19). I'm hoping that they're working on our region soon so that we can start to see tracking numbers tonight or tomorrow.

The thing is, I haven't seen a lot of people getting shipping info for 16GB iPhone 6's... or is it that not a lot of people got this configuration?

Same location and no order update either. I ordered a 6+ 64GB Gold.
 
Still no update info on my phone shipping date but got my apple case for my 6+
that's a BIG phone I love it :D
 
So I've been stuck in the same boat as those whose orders went through within 10 minutes of midnight PST, received an email with a 9/19 date but have heard nothing since then and receive a shipping information status of "not available at this time."


EDIT: My order location is N211401 with an order number of 9X,XXX.

I have the same location and order number range for a gold 6+ 64gb. Haven't heard a peep. Ordered by 2:20am cst.
 
I have the same location code and have had a tracking number for my phone since Monday morning. I'm in the Hampton Roads area of VA. I ordered a 64GB Plus in Space Grey and received a 9/19 date on my confirmation email.

I'm the same location code, but I'm in DC. I got a 16 GB 6 Plus in Space Grey. Not a word since the email confirmation after placing the order (which said expected ship date 10/14). Another person in a different location code and ordered after me has already gotten shipping details for the same phone!
 
Southwest, OH here. Got my order through around 3:30 due to the errors. I now have a shipping number for my 16GB 6+ SG
 
I finally have a tracking number under online status. Maybe I can clarify some information for everyone.

1. I preordered at around 2:45a.m. central time. It would have been earlier, but I was unable to find a way to preorder more than 1 phone on edge at a time and i needed 2 phones. I decided to just order regular 2 year contract.

2. I received a confirmation email a couple hours later stating 9/19 delivery.

3. I checked under online status about 6 hours later and it showed a 10/7 delivery online. Then a couple hours later that status changed to "Order in processing, no shipping information".

4. 2 Days ago, the design of the status page changed but still said order processing. The design has a left column that has an empty space for where tracking number can go, and on the right column it said "still processing, check back tomorrow". This change in status page correlates to a credit card charge for the purchase of both phones including tax that occurred on the same day. From my understanding, the credit card charge means that the phone is being sent out.

5. I never received an email with tracking information. Instead, I received an email today that asked me to confirm my email address. I clicked confirm and then checked online status. Online status shows tracking information now.

6. Tracking information says my phone was shipped on the 14th. 3 days ago, which correlates with the credit card charge.

So if you are wondering whether or not your phone has been shipped and you will receive it on the 19th, I believe there are 2 potential indicators. 1 indicator is your status page changing in format to showing a 2 column, empty tracking info on the left and "processing, check back tomorrow" on the right. 2nd indicator is a credit card charge for the full amount including tax.

If you notice either of those indicators, I believe that you can count on getting your phone on the 19th.
 
I think anyone that can jump the line is BS! We all either had the same issue or got through by being up early.

Just overwhelmed by the over obsession over a phone being in hand on Friday and the unwillingness for people to wait. Tens of thousands of people had that error you had. I had it too. Verizon can't possibly push everyone's order forward whom claims they had that error. It is chaos as it is already. Doing that would completly negate the line that was set by ordering. They may as well just do it by lottery or pick a name out of a hat. Wait in line patiently like the rest of us man. :)

I'm ok with not getting it on Friday. But a delivery date of 10/14 was unacceptable when it was their error that caused the slipping of shipping from 9/19 to 10/14.

ordered 12:05 PST with 9/19 delivery.

email received a couple hours later with 9/19 delivery.

when i check my order status, i get the following message:

"We received your order and it is in process." / "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time."

i'm sure i'll receive on 9/19. if i don't, i'm going to give verizon hell

100% agreed. Wish more people were this rational. Some people need to chill. It's not fair that somebody's spot should be moved down b/c of Verizon issue that wasn't said person's fault either. Why should person A be moved down b/c of some issue that person B had? Person A didn't cause it so why should they get screwed over? People just need to be patient. The iPhones will get here. Some are getting it this week. Some next week, and some the week after that. Just relax y'all #
 
Well guys the ridiculousness continues, earlier i posted that s "supervisor" called me and said that the original 10/14 date was incorrect and I would receive it on 9/19, well she just called back and said now that Verizon is saying my order was pushed back to 10/14 again. Whatever I am done with this crazy back and forth I'm betting at this point I'll be bale to find a 6 plus easier in a retail shop on early Friday morning that keep going down this road.

I have seen no rhyme or reason as to how they are figuring the shipping to people who order the 6 pluses, I have seen other people with higher order numbers than mine get shipping confirmation for 9/19 how is that possible?

Flagged by fraud department (bought 5-6 phones from them before)
Called to verify order and was reassured that it would ship on time.
Waited 2-days.
No email, nothing.
Called, spoke to a supervisor and they said it should ship on time.
Tracking came in email shortly after, coincidence?
 
Has anyone gotten confirmation on whether we'll be able to have the FedEx shipments held at a FedEx Office location?

I thought I had read that the "Customize Delivery" option would become available once they start moving, but seems like people said last year that FedEx wouldn't hold them somewhere until after the first delivery attempt.

Anybody have the details on this?

It did that for thousands of people unfortunately. I am sure they are doing everything they can to meet the demand with what Apple has supplied them with. It's like having 15 children and only having enough food for 3 or 4 of them. I know it blows but Apple fumbled this one. VZW is doing everything that they can minus giving their front line CS reps any answers to give customers.
 
I had a rep tell me yesterday that I was going to get my order of iphone 6+ 64 gb on friday but the rep I talked to today to double check says no not until 10/07 this is such a mess.

And again I wish people were this understanding. I say this b/c going into work on Friday at Best Buy, I know I'm gonna get yelled at by angry customers b/c we didn't get enough iPhones in for everybody. As if Best Buy, Verizon, AT&T ect are purposely doing this.
 
I just don't get why the Verizon reps aren't being honest and simply responding with "I don't know" instead of nonsense that isn't even true. I work for DirecTV and when I don't know the answer to a customers question..I say I don't know. Yeah I might listen to death threats and wanting to come to my house and beat me up but it's better than handing someone a BS line.
