Just got charged for my 64GB Gold 6+ coming out of the infamous D772001. Email said 9.19. Earlier order status attempts said 10.7 followed by the mysterious "order in process"

So it seems that things are moving now!
 
I'm in the Bay Area, CA. If you didn't talk to CS, you should. As long as your order has an expected ship date, and you talked to CS and they told you you've been expedited you should be good. They said the "jump the line" request is not really a request, more like an order. But, they will only put it in if you have an original order with the first batch, and if it was due to Verizon error and not yours.

Edit: I did EDGE, so no charge. I'm probably going to put a down payment once I get the phone.

I did Edge as well.

Glad they were able to expedite me.

Had NO progress since I ordered on 9/12 until now. My $1.00 preauthurization charge was removed from my card this morning, and I just got a pending charge for the full amount (tax included). Order status now says check back tomorrow. Order now also shows up under My Verizon. Located in Queens, NYC. So many people in NYC, don't know why they'd wait so late for this location though..
 
FINALLY got tracking info posted for my order from Location D771101 (I'm in Central NJ)! Shipping Fed Ex, currently in TN, with delivery on Friday! :) After getting the error codes for 45 minutes on preorder day, I finally got my order in at 3:45am EST.

Question for you guys though, one of the phones I ordered was the 6 16 GB Gold, do you think there is any way for me to bring it to my local store unopened when I receive it and exchange it for the 64GB without paying the $35 restocking fee? I tried to change my order the following morning after preorder (like 4 hours later) but they wouldn't let me change it without cancelling the whole order, and I also had a Space gray one with a delivery date of 9/19 so I didn't want to mess with that. Thanks!

Where do I find out my TRUE online order time, my pre order confirmation came to my gmail at 225 am but there is now way that is my true order time, i ordered wayyyyy earlier than that.:eek:
 
holy ******. FINALLYYYY have an update since confirmation email, as of 10 mins ago, my order now shows up in the my orders section of verizon's website.. Also order status changed to "Please check back tomorrow" Only thing is my order date went from 9/12 to today, 9/17.. Hope that doesn't ruin my 19th delivery lol

My order status just changed to "check back tomorrow". Order is now showing up on my verizon and receipt is in my documents.

You are the first post I've seen to confirm shipment from location D771101. That is the same location I'm currently waiting on to ship out my 6+ 64GB Space Gray. My order completed at 3:11am EST. I really hope they ship my out by the end of today.
 
Unfortunately people will raise all hell because they HAVE TO get the phone Friday or the earth will cease to exist. I wonder how many arrests will be made over upset impatient customers causing trouble because of they don't get the phone Friday their life will lose all meaning.

It's quite sad tbh. People getting that angry over a phone. I already know there's gonna be angry confrontations and all that crap, happens every year. Just wish people would have patience and be just a little be more understanding. I don't see what the big deal is if you have to wait a week or whatever for a phone. ITS A PHONE, not a cure for some life threatening disease. It's also the reason why I hate working Black Friday in any retail environment. A certain product is sold out (or iPhone in this case) and the store associates are the ones who have to take the verbal abuse...as if we purposely came up with some evil plot to make sure said product sold out. Lol it's just ridiculous

When I see people saying how they called AT&T, Verizon, Best Buy, Sprint, ect and yelled and kicked and screamed until they got their way...I just can't help but smh followed by a massive facepalm. I had to call verizon b/c I didn't know if my package was coming on FedEx or UPS. I then told the rep that I wasn't gonna hit her with 6000 questions about when my order was coming in, and what time, and this and that. I told her I know it's crazy and I know that they, just like us retail associates are under and **** load of stress with this launch. So I wasn't gonna do that to her. She actually thanked me for that and just being understanding and respectful towards her.

i ordered like at 3:30am, got confirmation at 5:05am, 10/7 date...and a 1 dollar authorization. i think i am done in terms of friday....hope for the best now. located in jersey.

Just curious, when you say order completed at 3:11 that means you pressed submit at that time or you received your confirmation email at that time?

Also, what date did your confirmation email say?

finally contacted Verizon, as i didn't receive any shipping info.

Was told that I had to request the order to be "released". This makes no sense since the only email i received pertaining to the order said that the order was complete, and i will receive shipping info.

To echo the posts on this page of the thread: I just had a movement out of the D772001! And no it wasn't because of the Fiber One I had for breakfast... :p

Card was charged around 3:42pm, around the same time of others here who i know who have been waiting for their updates. I can now check my order status in my Verizon, and everything says "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow," and "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later."

I originally had a 9/19 date in my confirmation email, and then a 10/14 date in the online order tracker, then a blank slate, to this. So it's looking good. BTW, ordered a 6 plus, 128gb, silver.
 
First time I've called this number. The guy seemed to have a little more information than the other CS number.

Here's the problem... my pre-sale confirmation states delivered by 9/19. He states listed on my account both 6+ 64gb phones I ordered (right at pre-sale launch) are scheduled to be delivered on 10/7.

This is the first time I heard of my delivery date being changed... the other time I called, they said whatever is on my confirmation email.

He told me the actual shipping dates were not verified until 2 days after the pre-sale started.

I think it has more to do with when the order was processed at verizon. He said my order wasn't verified until 0532, over 5 hours after I placed my order. I wonder if that's why some are, without any logical sense, having their shipping dates pushed back and are not receiving tracking or billing confirmations.

What has turned into a 3 day wait has now turned into a 3 week wait!

Well my cc was finally charged and the order shows under my order status online with the "check back tomorrow" tag...

Question... my pre-sale has a delivery date of 9/19, but verizon customer support told me yesterday my phones are schedule to be delivered on 10/7. If that's the case, why are they processing my order before the 9/19 launch. Should I assume they don't know what their talking about and go by my confirmation email?

How long did it take you guys to get your tracking info after your order was processed with the "check back tomorrow" business?
