Just curious, when you say order completed at 3:11 that means you pressed submit at that time or you received your confirmation email at that time?

Also, what date did your confirmation email say?


That is when my preorder submission on Verizon's website completed (I took a screenshot immediately afterwards so I would know when it was submitted).

At the time I ordered it they gave me a 9/19 date. But the confirmation email listed a 10/7 date. The order status link hasn't show any shipment date.
 
i ordered like at 3:30am, got confirmation at 5:05am, 10/7 date...and a 1 dollar authorization. i think i am done in terms of friday....hope for the best now. located in jersey.

I haven't received an email, I don't have a "check back tomorrow", and my CC hasn't been charged, but I do now have the order information in the "Notifications" section on the main page of My Verizon.

When clicking said information I get the following:

Where do I find out my TRUE online order time, my pre order confirmation came to my gmail at 225 am but there is now way that is my true order time, i ordered wayyyyy earlier than that.:eek:

I would say your first order ship date is the right one.

It's quite sad tbh. People getting that angry over a phone. I already know there's gonna be angry confrontations and all that crap, happens every year. Just wish people would have patience and be just a little be more understanding. I don't see what the big deal is if you have to wait a week or whatever for a phone. ITS A PHONE, not a cure for some life threatening disease. It's also the reason why I hate working Black Friday in any retail environment. A certain product is sold out (or iPhone in this case) and the store associates are the ones who have to take the verbal abuse...as if we purposely came up with some evil plot to make sure said product sold out. Lol it's just ridiculous

When I see people saying how they called AT&T, Verizon, Best Buy, Sprint, ect and yelled and kicked and screamed until they got their way...I just can't help but smh followed by a massive facepalm. I had to call verizon b/c I didn't know if my package was coming on FedEx or UPS. I then told the rep that I wasn't gonna hit her with 6000 questions about when my order was coming in, and what time, and this and that. I told her I know it's crazy and I know that they, just like us retail associates are under and **** load of stress with this launch. So I wasn't gonna do that to her. She actually thanked me for that and just being understanding and respectful towards her.


I agree. Plus I think it's much easier to get what you want if you are polite, concise, and can tell them exactly what went wrong with your order.

Ordered a 128GB 6+ in silver and a 128GB 6 in slate gray from location D772101 (Connecticut) at around 3:55am EST. Website and order confirmation both promised 9/19. My credit card was just charged a few minutes ago, so it looks like they're shipping out tomorrow + arriving Friday as scheduled.

So don't panic yet, there's still hope...

I am a retail store manager myself. I know and feel you pain over sale item on hand availability and Black Friday. I find most people are fine to deal with and a small group are miserable and insufferable. They want what they want then and there and expect you to magically materialize something out of thin air that you are powerless to produce and if you don't they "will never come back, get you fired, complain to everyone they know and online, sue you for false advertising, and go to the competition."
 
Originally my order showed a deliver of "by 10/7"

But this morning I got Fedex tracking information, showing it should be delivered by 8pm on Friday the 19th. I'm in the NYC metro area.

P.S. my CC was charged for the full amount yesterday (including tax), or rather it was attempted at midnight on the 15th. On the morning of the 16th I awoke to email messages that the CC charge didn't go through because of a fraud alert. I straightened that out with my CC company and with VZW yesterday morning pronto, and was charged right away.
 
Ordered a 128 GB iPhone 6+ in Silver at approx 3:07 AM...got email confirmation around 4:33 AM...as of today, NOTHING - no tracking number, no charge on credit card...I've called several times and they have no information, other than to tell me my order is still in the process of being processed...argh!

Verizon literally just took my money. D771001. Guaranteed delivery Friday.

My guess is that it is on a pallet in a major hub and for security and inventory reasons pallets are scanned periodically so they can notice any discrepancies.
 
FINALLY some movement in D771001!!

Just checked for the 100th time today and the order is finally showing up in my order history, and my card was charged! It's not much but I'll take it after almost a week of nothing. Order placed around 3:10 a.m. EST for a 6+ 64gb gold. Please please please get here on the 19th as scheduled...

BTW... Verizon did not include the sales tax on my credit card charge. Has this happened to others? Could this be Verizon's "U2" gift to us, lol!

They did for the 6 that shipped - down payment plus sales tax for the entire retail price. One nasty thing about edge - the taxable base is much larger.
 
Looks like mine is going through now, even with all the problems it had. Card has been charged and status has been updated to "check back tomorrow".
