Re: indirect signature. Directly from the FedEx site:

Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present.

Yes, this is exactly what I told the person at FedEx. When they say " or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present." That means the door tag that they left AFTER the first attempted delivery. There is no door tag you can get beforehand to leave there.

This is how it was all explained to me by FedEx at least. If there is a door tag you can leave before the first delivery attempt, please link us to where we can get it.

Finally got tracking numbers for UPS

Does anyone know if multiple iPhones are in an order if they ship separately or in one box? They all have the same tracking number, so I assume they will be in one box, but if so how do you know which one is for which line? Thanks

It appears my orders are coming in via UPS Next Day Air Saver from the Louisville, KY hub and scheduled for delivery "by the end of the day" tomorrow, the 19th.

Although I've freed up my day to allow for "sitting and waiting around to sign for UPS deliveries", I apparently have an option to "Hold for Customer Pick-Up" at the nearby UPS facility. The facility has an opening time of 8:30AM...

Anyone have any thoughts of whether it'd be less stressful to just change the delivery to pick-up and waltz in at 8:30AM, versus staring out the window until 6PM waiting for big brown trucks?

Does anyone know if it is held, if it is standard UPS procedure to have items ready for release at the opening time at the local UPS facility for will call pick-ups?

Mine seems to be in the same shipment, but by 3pm bc it's coming to my office! Really hope this comes today!! Are you also in NYC?

Will probably get shipped to Newark, where all the phones from West Chester go, and join the rest of our phones that have been sitting all week.

I had mine held for pickup. UPS had a delivery estimate of 12pm - 4pm so I opted for Will Call so I can pick it up at 9am instead.

There's a tracking number for each package, if you only received on number then there is only one package.

If all of your phones are the same model, I'm not sure if it matters which line you activate on each.

Same location and my order number was 139XXX (almost 140000) so looks like a 3k difference in orders. Mine is on its way now.

Mine would be less than 1000 away from yours and I have a 10/7 date...no movement...

Did your confirmation email say 9/19 or 10/7?

I hold for pick up all the time and I did it here with my phones. Generally they will send you an email saying your package is available for pick up. When tracking reflects the package is at the hub where you have scheduled the will call hold you can generally just go pick it up.

How can someone help without phone model? Delivery date stated during checkout and in email?
Sorry IPhone 6 plus date in email said 10/28. Been checking all week and just in the last 5 minutes it changed from 10/28 to 10/21. Is that a good sign?

More bad news :(

Ordered 6+ 64GB at 3:04 AM, confirmation said 10/7 ship date despite the quick turnaround (order 142XXX)

Check status all this week, no movement, just 'processing'

Today: Ship date 10/14.

Bollocks.

last time i ever deal with verizon! got my e-mail confirmation for 9/19 no updates for 6 days finally get a update shipping 10/14 what a crock!!
order number was 832** 6+ 128GB Space Grey

So the Iconic order status just updated for me to show ship dat. Not good news.

Ace Order No: 284XXX
Ace Order Location: D771001
Order Status: We received your order and it is in process.
Expected Ship Date: 10/07/2014

in the last 5 minutes my order status online now actually includes a expected ship date, which is the same date I received in my order confirmation email of 10/7. Prior to this it was blank.

Update

Order status expected ship date just changed from "not available at this time" to 10/7. Order # 141xxx, Location D772001.

There goes any remaining hope....

I'm seeing quite a few talking about having to wait until late in the evening for UPS to deliver. Sign up for UPS My Choice (it's free). You can schedule the package for will call hold and go to the hub and pick it up at your convenience. I'm assuming most all deliveries will get to the hubs during the early morning hours. That way, scheduling the package for pickup should allow you to just walk in and pick up your package when they open rather than sitting around all day waiting. It's a great option, I do it for almost every package I have sent.
