With no updates to the FedEx tracking since the 13th, this morning there is a new entry for "Shipment information sent to FedEx." The Estimated Delivery Date is still set for tomorrow on 9/19.
That sucks..I'm in the same location code, and my order no was 284XXX as well. My order shipped at 12:30AM today. What did you order? I got a Gold 64gb 6+
They verify mine every year or so: they send an email to my work account and I have to respond from that account.
I kind of wish my phone shipped UPS so I could hold for pickup.
Also, is anyone showing the extra 1GB of data yet or does the new device have to be activated first?

I've sat in my car for more than an hour at UPS waiting for them to "find" something that I had held for pickup -- and that wasn't on iPhone day, so..... good luck!
I had hoped all these updates are just them processing the orders and then they will update to 9/19.
But its not hopeful when yours was 9/19 and has changed to 10/14.
And mine just kicked over to 10/14. Looks like i am going to the Verizon store at 8 AM to see if I can cancel my order and just pick up one there (if there are any left).
As did I, it was a pleasant surprised since I didn't even know about the promotion...
Ahh my phone finally shipped!! Louisville, KY. I thought for sure it would come from the west coast. UPS 1-day, delivery tomorrow. It says before 3PM, I wonder if that's true or not. I hope so, I want my new phone as early as possible!

my order for the exact same phone was pushed back to 10/14 and I was 30,000 ahead of you.
Joining in on the hype: here is my updated status.
My iPhone 6 is sitting in Louisville KYwhich is only hours away from me (AR). I should have my phone by tomorrow NLT 3pm! Coincidentally, tomorrow is also my day off so I will be happily awaiting for my package at home.

Mine says the EXACT same thing, even the two scans at 8:26am and 10:52am. I am in Sacramento, and mine is in Louisville too. And sorry to say its not NLT 3pm, its NLT 8pm, (by end of day for residential deliveries) <---- Says right on your tracking. Unless your going to a business?
Good luck to you folks that are going to try to get the iPhone 6 + SG's at your local stores. I just canvased my city. Even Walmart's Wireless doesn't have any. Which leads me to believe verizon when they said they have limited stock. Quite brilliant on Apple's part as far as marketing. Put the less popular offerings out first before putting out the more Space Grey one. I remembered a few months ago it was said there would be a two week difference on the releases of the actual handsets. we'll see some action soon on the iPhone 6 Plus SG line soon guys.
I called the day before preorder to make sure everything was lined up on my account because I was going to switch to Edge and do an early upgrade. The rep was very knowledgeable, and told me about the free 1GB and said that I could drop my data by 1GB for the $10/month savings and just use the freebie instead.
Great fedex just changed my deliver by time to 8pm. I so need to be home 8am-8pm...sounds reasonable.

Brilliant marketing or bad estimating? I wonder if Apple underestimated the popularity of the Plus - perhaps they thought people would be willing to "edge up" in size, but wouldn't jump en masse from 5s size to Plus.
