VZW Order Status Thread

Good news!

Verizon told me my new iPhone (with a ship date of 10/7) will actually be here tomorrow! Despite no tracking number or credit card charge!

This proves they are clueless. :rolleyes:

(In fairness, when I pressed him, he said it won't come until Friday. He also mentioned a "batch" that is arriving on Friday, said there was plenty of upfront stock, and that he isn't sure when the cutoff was but that my order "should have been" within the first batch. Take his word for what it's worth.)

Curious how you got to chat with someone regarding order status? Thought the only chat option was for new sales?

Look at what that person said, the email said delivers on 9/12. Based on your past experiences, he should have received his phone already. Right???

Common sense would have us follow the trend. They've hit their targets in the past and given us no reason to believe the won't this time. I suppose it's always possible they don't, but it's far more likely they do.

My email said it. A rep has confirmed my delivery date. Why should I assume they're lying to me?

I'd bet he misread his email. The 9/12 and 9/19 dates are right next to each other on the email.

Anyone who ordered the iPhone 6 plus 128gb from verizon get charged in full yet or get a shipping notice???

None i can find yet.
 
I just called Verizon Wireless because I received an email from them regarding my credit card. The rep checked and everything went through ok. I contacted my cc company and they also advised that it all went through OK, so not sure what that email from Verizon was about, unless they just wanted to verify my identity or something since I've never used that CC for such a large purchase with them.

The rep told me (and this seems to contradict what quite a few other posters have said) that since I ordered an iPhone 6+ 64GB and it was between 3:15 am EST and 7:00 am EST, it will ship on 10/07, not 9/19.

I know that at TON of people preordered these phones, but that seems like a really small window for phones to be shipped on 9/19 vs 10/07.

I think this is correct as well, as it has ALWAYS been what the actual Verizon site and emails said. I'm hopeful it may come a little sooner, but I'm not expecting Friday.

still noone charged i can find. let's hope they are coming in tomorrow because i think it is safe to assume at this point that verizon hasn't gotten the 128+ in yet. hopefully tomorrow.

You'd lose that bet. I posted a screenshot up thread but my confirmation email had both the order and delivery dates as 9/12/14.

So, you're just flat out wrong.

Yep, this seems like the truth. My email said 10.7 and I ordered around 3:30

It was just a guess, and a very reasonable one. No need to be a dick about it. I wasn't calling you a liar.
 
i ordered two phones from VZW. First was the 128 6+ Gold within 10 minutes of the preorders going live. I had an email that showed

expected delivery 9-19-14, then when i checked my order status right when i got the email it said 10-7 and now has been saying "expected ship date not available at this time"

I ordered a Gold 64 iphone 6 around 3 pm on friday and it has already shipped and I have the tracking number.

I assume VZW has enough stock to cover the dates they provided, I'm just not sure why they would not ship a single 128 6+ yet unless they are processing it last. All of these orders are shipped next day air so even if its shipped out on thursday from their warehouse we would still get it in time.

Ordered the 128 GB. 6+ space gray at 1:58 am CST (got in before midnight!)

No confirmation email. No charge on the credit card. Ship Date: Not available at this time. And the order tracker in My Verizon won't work. Lol

But the VZW rep on the phone checked & assured it would come 09/19. Fingers crossed she's right! I was starting to wonder if my order even went through. she had to give me my order & confirmation #s. :rolleyes:

Indeed and I apologize for my tone - didn't mean it to come off that way. Just pointing out that even the confirmation emails have errors occasionally.

I didn't misread my email. Both dates say 9/12 and I'm not the only one to get that. Clearly that was an error but we're hoping it means our delivery date is indeed 9/19.

Location D771001, just got a tracking number for my iPhone 6 128GB Space Grey with Friday scheduled delivery. I ordered at approximately 6:00 AM Central time with an order number in the 290,000's.

Call or online chat? This morning I called expecting to get an automated order status but got a live person with no hold time.
