Starting to lose hope lol... ordered my iphone 6+ gold128 gb 10 minutes after release... got my 9/19/14 confirmation e-mail but that's it. No order status online minus it's being processed... and no charge on CC. :(

Same thing is happening to me. Except i preodered an iPhone 6 Gold (64GB) on 9/13 and it is already at FedEx and I have a tracking number and everything i need

BUT

The iPhone 6 Gold (16GB) that i ordered on 9/12 hasn't had any other activity other than the confirmation and that it's expected to be delivered on 9/19
-- when i click check order status, all i see is:
"We received your order and it is in process | Expected Ship Date: 09/19/2014"

of course this is better than some of y'alls saying that there is no expected ship date

Does anyone else have the following problem?

When I go to check my order status, I get a tracking number which starts with a 1Z (UPS) which links to a FedEx tracking page. Invalid for both carriers.

Has anyone actually pre ordered by edging up? If so has anyone had there cards charged and any tracking information?

I edged up 3 of our phones. 2 have charged and I have tracking info on one. The third phone was ordered friday evening and I haven't see any activity for that phone but my email confirmation says delivery by 9/19.

Nope, mine is in Memphis too since Saturday. I'm sure they'll start to move in 2-3 days, if not Thursday at the latest so they're already at the local hub for loading Friday.

Sweet. Just wanted to check. I've had situations where a product just sits for a few days and is ultimately declared lost and then shows up 2 weeks later. So I just wanted to make sure everyone else had theirs sitting there.

Who in Southern California has the W77900 order location and has received tracking info for their 6 Plus? I ordered my phone about an hour after preordered started, still have a 9/19 deliver date, but no tracking and no CC charge yet.

Placed order at 11:55pm PDT

So I was able to access Verizon's pre-order site at 11:55pm PDT on 9/11. I'm thinking maybe it went up maybe a tad earlier than that. I got my confirmation email at 11:59 pm PDT.

When I check my Pre-Order status, it shows no updates at this time.

I'm concerned now since others seem to have theirs.

Woke up this morning and found a UPS tracking number posted in the Order Status section in My Verizon page.

Of course it's listed as 2 Day Air with ship date of 9/18 like many of you.

6+ 64 SG, SoCal order #205k. Conf email showed delivery by 9/19, which I am sure I'll get it then.

Anyone get a UPS tracking number. For the 6 I ordered I got a FedEx tracking number but when I track my 6 plus it gives me a UPS tracking number? It also, carries me to the FedEx when I click to track it.

Yes, it's directing to Fedex but it's a UPS number. Most likely no information available at this time anyways. I got my tracking number for UPS a little bit ago but it doesn't have any information yet.

Again, completely invalid information. There are 18 different Verizon models, so this theory they are telling you is false. Sad that people actually believe them. LOL

I'm not sure why people keep dismissing it as false, it is perfectly reasonable. Yes, there are 18 models, but they have a different timeframe for EACH of the 18 models. When I spoke to them, the first thing they asked was specifically which phone I ordered. i.e. iPhone 6 64GB in Space Gray.

Once they know specifically which model you have, they can look up the timeframe for that model.

To those arguing that they wouldn't be able to say "12am-2am" will get it on 9/19 because they didn't know how many orders there would be: They do now. They created these charts after the fact. Once they had some time to look at the volume of orders per SPECIFIC device type, they were able to inform their reps of the timeframes.

I preordered through "edging up" around 3am Friday and it went through fine. Card was charged a couple days ago and got shipping info Saturday for delivery 9/19. This is for a gray 64gb iPhone 6.

Was your line on edge before you edged up to the iphone 6? I'm just wondering because I pre ordered a iphone 6 128gb and to edge up I had to trade my 5s in and pay $224.79 and I haven't seen any charges on my card. Would my card be charged the same way everyone else is that pre ordered by a 2 year contract? Sorry if this doesn't make since I can't seem to find the exact words to explain it.

Have a tracking number and just got an email saying my expected delivery is the 19th! Ordered at 6+ 64gb Black from verizon at 3:05am and had to deal with the fraud stuff the next morning...

Fair enough, except each rep has given everyone a different time frame, so it does start to become questionable.

Since Verizon usually uses FedEx, I think they automatically have it set up to track on FedEx.

What happens if you manually enter the number on UPS? However, UPS does not always update right away. Could take a few hours, or the next day.

Yeah, it just gives me an error. Probably just isn't updated yet.

I do agree with you on that! Haha there always seems to be a few reps that don't exactly follow (completely) with that theory but I don't by any means think that the theory is unreasonable. :)

Like I said, the different time estimates could also be because the people reporting them have different models/colors.

Ordered 3 iPhone 6 128 GB on Sept 13 from Verizon - 1 Gray, 1 Silver & 1 Gold

As of 10 AM today, Fed Ex reports Gray and Gold in transit, location Memphis, TN. Destination is Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Verizon reports Silver one as "Your order will ship by 09/19/2014". I guess silver is in short supply. Unfortunately, that's my wife's phone. :(

No charges have shown up on my CC.

Now all show in transit. Gray and Gold from Memphis, TN; Silver from Coatsville, PA. Arrival date is 9/19 for all.

I too had to exercise the edge up option and pay $324 (Since I've only had my iPhone 5S on edge for two months). My card was charged on Saturday even though I did it on Friday morning when I preordered my 6 plus. I know you have to pay taxes and the first months payment for the phone, but that doesn't show up until the bill comes. But you should have been charged the $224.79 already I would assume. It might depend on when they get to your order. Did you preorder early?

Ordered a 64GB 6+ SG at 3:14AM EDT on Friday. CC was charged last night and I now have a tracking number for "UPS 2ND DAY AIR-4PM"

Didn't say I believe, just reporting the call.

That said, his time for delivery, based on what my confirmation said was correct and I had not told him what my confirmation said.

Do I believe him? Not sure. But I do believe the reports that Apple has enlisted their Chinese courier to ship so many units by plane that they are delaying product shipments for other vendors. The first delivery was expected to be between 500,000 and 700,000 iPhones (depending on model makeup of shipment). If they can get that many on a plane with 4 million ordered so far, that's 7-8 plane loads, depending on how fast they make the little buggers.
If they've been making them since July with multiple facilities putting them together, the first flight of 500,000-700,000 was more likely a cargo weight limitation than an available product limitation. If that's the case, they could be flying 500,000 in every other day??? Maybe every few days. Again, if that's the case, we may not be waiting quite as long as the carriers and Apple suggest.
