VZW Order Status Thread

I ordered my 6 Plus at about 11:58AM PST and received the email almost immediately stating a Delivery Date of 9/19. Now my order status page just says "received order and processing".

I ordered my wife the iPhone 6 at about 8AM PST and hers says Delivery Date 9/19 on email and status page.

I kind of wonder if the gentleman above that also has a Delivery Date online is because of the iPhone 6 order along with the 6 Plus order. Just an idea.

That one just says "We received your order and it is in process." and the shipping estimate is blank. Essentially the same thing.

Ah. In the past it has been more accurate and that is the one I have had reps refer me to in past years. I am sure your orders will update though in a few days. As long as the email says it you're good. 2 years ago some of the preorders where showing up with ship dates in like 2100 or something...the system gets glitchy.
 
So my delivery date somehow changed from 9/19 to 10/14. I called Verizon and complained and the rep claimed that their end shows it shipping on 9/19. Really hope he's not full of $***.
 
please someone help me. I have a reservation, but I cannot continue because I have a business account. Is there anything I can do to purchase the phone even though I have a Verizon Business account on Apples site? Can I like start a completely different personal account to buy it, but then just cancel the plan at the store and buy it for a different number?
 
My order status page updated to the grid view and CC was charged!! That took a while to happen last year. still says Ship by 9/19, email says Deliver by 9/19, so hopefully it'll be here that day. So excited! :)

Which phone did you order and what did your original email ship date say?

Just checked mine and it has updated too! Looking good for 9/19 (32 GB iPhone6 space grey)
 
10/7 for me. Does it really mean 10/7 though? Many people here have it say 10/7 even though they ordered right out of the gate.
 
I'm really starting to think very few of those that ordered a + will see it on or near launch date.

You don't get charged until it ships. Most likely it won't ship until wednesday. So we will all be in limbo until then.
 
My VZW order for a 6 and a 6+ says 9/19 still, as it has said since I ordered and got my email.
 
Ordered 6+ Gold 64GB at 257am EST when the presale went online. Received confirmation email at 310 that stated 9/19 delivery date. Also saved the on screen receipt that stated the same delivers by 9/19 date.

The status online now is blank for shipping date/expected ship date: not available.

If you're telling me that Verizon sold through their entire supply of this phone within a MINUTE of the presale going online, well, I'm having a hard time believing that. Even with the huge demand for the phone.

Most likely, they are only charging/updating shipping status for those who ordered the 6. Maybe processing those orders first. All the "card charged, status changed" posts I've seen were for the 6.

In other words, if your card hasn't been charged and you ordered within the first 10 minutes of the presale going online, I wouldn't sweat it. Unless Verizon/Apple completely lied/messed up, I'm pretty sure those who ordered early enough WILL have the 6+ on launch day. Because if they don't deliver on that promise, they WILL be hit with a lot of backlash. It will not be pretty and I'm sure Apple doesn't want that after the celeb scandal.

I went through this before with the 5 preorder. Was in by 310am. Received the phone on launch day even after the date fluctuated between the 14th, 21st, and 28th. Card didn't get charged for days after, perhaps not til Tuesday (3 days before the phone arrived).

Worst case scenario, we don't get the phone on launch day. It would suck, but it's not the end of the world. Just a phone.
 
Anyone able to get the Order Status page to work? Not the preorder-specific page but the normal order status one? It has said "We are experiencing system issues, please try again later." in red text all day.
