my preorder was initially supposed to ship on 10/7 and now it says "Not Available at this time". Ordered the phone around 3:45pm on 9/12 at a verizon store

64GB 6 space gray btw
 
Ordered three 6+ 16GB Gold at 12:08 AM PST on 9/12. Confirmation email and order status page showed expected ship date of 10/14/2014. Order status page now showing expected ship date not available at this time. Hoping it's going to ship in time to receive on 9/19. No charge on CC yet. Anyone else in the same situation?

I hate to tell you, but there are a ton of people with 10/7. If anything that group may end up with a good deal of orders as Friday shipping as orders and stock 'settle' with cancels and prior reservation's rolling off. Those quoted 10/14 10/21 etc are almost certainly the October shipment. But there's always hope I suppse...
 
After seeing multiple shipping/delivery dates and multiple calls into Verizon I finally got someone who hopefully is telling the truth. She told me my 6+ 16gb space grey will ship on the 19th. She even had an email sent stating that for proof. Attached is the email. Hope she is right!

Now that's a positive rep! Unfortunately, I don't believe them whether it's good or bad news. Only time will tell.
 
Finally got my shipment email!

Weird thing is... the VZW site links me to FedEx, but the tracking # is actually UPS... and it's not even loaded into UPS yet.

Seeing this a lot this time around and its strange, at least for me Verizon has always shipped phones, and all iPhone preorders, through FedEX, looks like they are overwhelmed and sending out via UPS, but their system defaults to FedEX since that is who they always use.

True. The order status at least changing gives me some hope. I don't mind waiting an extra week but a month is difficult considering I ordered pretty early. I guess 6+ are just so short in supply.
 
How did you find out they were cancelled?

I'm kinda starting to feel glad I have a full price model coming from Apple as well. I may end up keeping that if VZW f**ks me over.

How did you order full retail from Apple? I wanted to do that but could not find a way to do it for a Verizon phone. Only contract-free option was T-Mobile. I ended up creating a new account with month-to-month via VZW.

My screen protector was delivered today -- now I'm getting excited! I did not order it when I ordered my phone - I ordered it a few hours earlier.

Where did you get screen protectors from? I am worried that if i order a screen protector it wont fit right seeing as how the iphone hasnt been out long. Some of the ones I have looked at on Amazon have had bad reviews or no reviews.
 
Hey all, ordered an iPhone 6 Plus space grey 128gb through Verizon's website via Edge in the first half hour of pre-orders. Like many of you I was given a 9/19 receipt date on the initial order confirmation page, but the subsequent email has a 10/7 date, and the order status page has a "technical issues / order received" status.

All that sucks, but what really worries me, and I'm wondering if any of you experienced something similar, is that I'm on the $60.00 monthly loyalty plan with 2gb of data. Online it wouldn't allow me to advance my preorder unless I picked a level of monthly data (that's why my preorder wasn't instant but took almost 30 minutes). I eventually figured they weren't trying to charge me for extra data each month but instead wanted to know how much I was currently receiving, so I selected the "2gb data / month" option. Upon completion of the order I was shown that I'll be expected to pay $30.00 more a month for 2gb extra of data. I called in and a bumbling representative that wanted to do nothing but waste my time by telling me about her life was able to do nothing but spook me that now I'm going to be stuck paying $130+ monthly instead of $100+ monthly... As I understand things I won't really even be able to know if this is resolvable, favorably until I receive the iPhone 6 plus (when and if I finally do, assuming there's no cancellation). Anyway, not too happy with Verizon...

Really sucks they have the best coverage. I tried T-Mobile last year when the iPhone 5s came out, and not only did I get reception almost nowhere (in a location that was supposed to have some of their best coverage) but they weren't actually any cheaper than my Verizon plan.

2. There's a new haptic feel to the device. When you shake it, it has a new vibration/shaking stuff.

3. The back silver-ish apple logo actually glows in the dark, not as bright as MBP, but it glows!!!

Okay, now it's time to have fun...

I ordered a 16GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus over the phone at 5:30am ET with VZW, and I have a delivery date by 09/19. You'd think you would have my delivery date... has your card been charged yet?

Similar situation. Three 6+ Gold 16GB ordered 2 mins after you. Mine also changed from 10/14 to unavailable.
 
I ordered saturday afternoon, Iphone 6 64gb space grey, confirmation email says October 7. this is prob one of the more popular set ups, aside from the +. Customer service told me i was in the second batch of orders and to expect it in october, sooner may be possible but thats pretty much all they can tell me. Really hoping to get it before october 7 even though coincidentally my birthday is october 7..

Call Internet Orders at 866-338-7390 and tell them that your original order was cancelled and replaced and you need your spot in line back.

Called that number and the girl was extremely unhelpful. Said my ship date 10/14 was correct. I keep getting mixed info from all reps.

Hate to say it, but you changed your pricing plan from the grandfathered plan to the new more everything plan. I'm grandfathered on the unlimited data plan and this is exactly why I didn't order my 6+ using my account. If you take the subsidy and an upgrade, or in some cases just make changes to your account, VZW will force you into one of the new plans.
 
I ordered my 6+ 16GB Space Grey phone prior to 3 AM EST, got my confirmation email at 3:01. Email sayd deliver by 10/14. Order number 130,xxx. I received an email overnight asking to call and confirm the order, something having to do with fraud. I called 8 AM Friday and was on hold for 45 minutes. They just needed to confirm something with my social since it was a new account with VZW. Anywho, I was hoping that didn't bump me down in the queue and the rep assured me it didn't (who really knows). She actually had the gall to say the phone would ship and I should get it Monday or Tuesday. Didn't quite believe that. When I check my order status online, it still says no date right now. CC hasn't been charged either. Just hoping to maybe be in the first wave as I got my order in pretty damn quickly compared to lots of the other 4 million people.

I ordered the same phone but in space gray. Completed order at 11:57pm of 9/11. Still same date 10/14/14 for delivery
