How did you order full retail from Apple? I wanted to do that but could not find a way to do it for a Verizon phone. Only contract-free option was T-Mobile. I ended up creating a new account with month-to-month via VZW.

Hmm, I added a Verizon phone with my current number which isn't eligible for an upgrade yet, and it added it. It said it would extend my contract, but that was an Apple typo and it's not.

Since Saturday night. I know it's still Monday but I'm a little nervous since a lot of people's have already shipped. I'll continue to go by the 9/19 ship date in my email I guess.

status shows "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow."


Just talked to verizon internet order department, he said on his end it shows completed, and a second department processes the shipment. Also confirmed a 9/19 date

1/ You still have the plastic film cover on the display.
2/ If you really want to prove that you have the phone, take a picture with the phone and today's newspaper.

Personally I don't really care. I think it's entirely feasible that UPS/FedEx would accidentally deliver a package in their possession despite the "don't deliver before Friday" instruction.

I could also see Apple deciding to allow UPS/FedEx to deliver early so that they don't have as large of a logistical problem on Friday. Assuming the back-end stuff is ready (IOS 8, iCloud, etc), why not...

I don't have today's news paper, but yeah, I haven't taken off the plastic on the screen yet. Guys, this phone is AMAZING. Let me know if you have other questions ONLY REGARDS TO THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE PHONE. I really don't care to prove this is real/fake. Apple did it again. There's SO MUCH about the phone they didn't mention on keynote.

Alright. I am just finding it hard to believe that I haven't received a shipping email or been charged despite my 3 AM order. I am hoping if doesn't have anything to do with being held up for a credit approval until 9 AM on Friday...
 
I myself also ordered from VZW's site shortly after that error issue was resolved.

Had ordered the iPhone 6 plus 128g silver with a delivery date of 9/19.

My email confirmation was bugged though and listed 9/12 for both dates.

Next day I went to check my pre-order status and it listed 10/14 (which I would not have ordered from VZW if that was the case). It later changed, and still is listed as, "Not available at this time".

I have not had any charge whatsoever on my card (even the $1 they do to verify the card).

I also have found that the order status when logged into the main site to be empty for me. Shows no orders at all. I am only able to get the info from the one provided from the link from the confirmation email when I enter the confirmation ID/Last Name. (I assume that its because it still hasn't been processed?)

I ended up in Live Chat with a CS rep who believes I should still be ok, but at the end of Monday now with no change, and with the problems with the order status, who knows....

You're situation is an exact mirror of mine. Even the number of phones, models and color. I did the Live Chat today and that agent was no help. I called in and explained my issue/confusion with the dates. The agent was very nice and checked each order. He stated that I will receive them both on 9/19. It seemed like he was going through screens to find something. He even stated that I would receive both phones in one package and not separately.

So I have some hope. I would still like to have a confirmation number.

Oh that's right. It was my UNL data plan that caused the problem. If you tried to upgrade a non-eligible line it would price it out as full retail, but then it would still force you to change your pricing plan.

True tone flash in the picture is fake (shouldn't be all yellow), the "Space Gray" coloring is off, and the Apple logo is too silver. Nice try though.
 
Welp, American Express flagged my charge as fraud and the lady at the internet orders department said that pushed me to the back of the line. They tried to charge my card on Saturday, I called as soon as I got the email and verified it was legit then called Verizon as soon as I got off the phone with them and they ran it through. Seems like the Internet Orders department does know more than the *611 people. She sure wasn't afraid to give bad news. Would rather that than them peeing on my leg and telling me it's raining.

I'm pissed. Looks like I'll go stand in line Friday morning and see if maybe my local store has a 6+ in stock then I'll cancel my preorder.

Do you have the same shipment center?

Considering my order page used to not have a tracking number section, but now does with that message, I think all should be good...

I ordered iphone 6 and iphone 6+ both 128GB on the 12th around 12:10 PST. I have been checking the ordering status everyday since. It has never been updated. Just saying "We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: 09/19/2014".
Talked to a verizon rep, he told me that i will have the phones on the 19th.

Correct. I won't get a charge since I did the Edge program for both. I'm guessing the shipping notification should come in the next 24-48 hours. I'm staying positive since Verizon hasn't screwed me yet in 4 years. lol.
 
So still on the phone with Verizon trying to UN-cancel (mind you we still have NO idea why they decided to cancel the orders in the first place). They placed our orders basically attached to our old ones and claim that our delivery date would still be the one for this new order they placed for us. So they transfer us to the Fraud Department because apparently they always have to put your account/order on hold when you order a phone on edge. We waited about 40 minutes on hold for the Fraud department only be told that it was the WRONG ****ING department and that we had to go back on hold to talk to the "other Fraud Department". ****ING LOVELY. We only had to leave like a half an hour ago to go somewhere and now we have to wait even more. The lady suggested we call back and it's like NO DO YOU THINK I WANT THIS ORDER TO BE ON HOLD ALL DAMN NIGHT??!

I tell ya. They are ****ing insane and so inconsiderate. I can't believe it's this hard to get a ****ing phone...I really can't. I have no words for this. :mad:

verizon SIM card

Well, I do have a verizon question. If I travel to EU or other countries, can I take the sim card out of my iPhone 6+ and put in the local carrier to use it?
