I myself also ordered from VZW's site shortly after that error issue was resolved.

Had ordered the iPhone 6 plus 128g silver with a delivery date of 9/19.

My email confirmation was bugged though and listed 9/12 for both dates.

Next day I went to check my pre-order status and it listed 10/14 (which I would not have ordered from VZW if that was the case). It later changed, and still is listed as, "Not available at this time".

I have not had any charge whatsoever on my card (even the $1 they do to verify the card).

I also have found that the order status when logged into the main site to be empty for me. Shows no orders at all. I am only able to get the info from the one provided from the link from the confirmation email when I enter the confirmation ID/Last Name. (I assume that its because it still hasn't been processed?)

I ended up in Live Chat with a CS rep who believes I should still be ok, but at the end of Monday now with no change, and with the problems with the order status, who knows....

I ordered a 16GB Gold iPhone 6 Plus over the phone at 5:30am ET with VZW, and I have a delivery date by 09/19. You'd think you would have my delivery date... has your card been charged yet?

No, my card hasn't been charged yet, just the $1 pending charge for now..

hmm. website says my order's processing. Telephone says my order shipped, but when I ask for tracking it just says it was received and activated? any clues?

"Your order is processing. Your shipping details will be available soon." <---- Been like that since 9 pm last night!

I bought a 64GB iPhone 6 my CC wasn't charge yet. I was told deliver by 9/19 will i get it on that date?

New iPhone user on Verizon left AT&T.

andrewket,

Thanks for the reply, and see, that's what's so confusing! It still has me in the loyalty plan, the loyalty plan is still something that exists, it's still something anyone can switch to after their first two years with Verizon. It just has me in the loyalty plan ($60.00 a month) with 2 gb of data PLUS an additional data plan (2gb a month at $30.00) for a total of $90.00, then EDGE on top of that. This is still yet more confusing because EDGE is supposedly different than their subsidized upgrade 2-year contract renewal plan. In any case, I'm pretty sure that Verizon is out to screw people out of their more of their money in any way they can, ah well. There really was no way to upgrade via EDGE and not add on an additional "data" plan. There was nothing about this in my contract either.

Disturbing.

Where did you get screen protectors from? I am worried that if i order a screen protector it wont fit right seeing as how the iphone hasnt been out long. Some of the ones I have looked at on Amazon have had bad reviews or no reviews.

I ordered it from Verizon a couple of hours before pre-order started. This was my first time doing pre-order so I didn't know that it would take me to an accessory shopping page after I had selected my phone, and I wanted to be sure I completed the phone purchase quickly.

16GB iPhone 6+ in Space Gray
Ordered @ ~2:57AM EST (few mins before midnight)
Order number in the 58k
Original confirmation email claims a delivery date of the 19th

No info at all since then. Hard to believe I wouldn't be one of the first few to get it, considering the time ordered and picking what I thought would be the most common model.

I ordered a 6, but I'm wondering if I receive it, and decide I'd rather have a Plus what the process will be. I normally would have 14 days to return/exchange my purchase, but would Verizon have a Plus for me to exchange within 14 days? Or would they extend the 14 day window until they could complete the exchange?

I just spoke with Verizon about this issue. The nice man did some research and explained to me how it would work.

1. I would need to return the 6 within the normal 14 day window - this applies whether I am on Edge or contract - and pay the restocking fee. The Edge plan or contract would be wiped out, so no payments would be due.

2. I would need to reactivate my OLD phone (4s)

3. Place an order for a 6+ (he said I would receive it sometime early to mid-November, and they don't expect the delivery dates to slide much more

4. As I planned to trade in my 4s, I would need to start the trade-in process by September 30, but I would have until December 1 to actually turn in the phone, either in store or through the mail-in program.

I didn't know the loyalty plan was something still available. It sounds like it's intended for single line accounts after contract? My only advice to you is: If you want the new phone ASAP let it go. Once you have possession of the phone, then call Verizon and see if you can figure out which end is up. Anything you do now will likely cause your order to be canceled.

Still no update on my 3:05 EST Silver 6+ 64GB. Order #97xxx, N211401. I've been stuck at:

Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow.

Since Saturday night. I know it's still Monday but I'm a little nervous since a lot of people's have already shipped. I'll continue to go by the 9/19 ship date in my email I guess.

I also had an order number in 58k.. ordered a 64GB 6. Order has shipped. I haven't seen very much movement on 16GB 6+

Wow when did verizon start using UPS. Must have hit their max fedex load lol

Here is the pic. You can see the glow and flexible screen I am taking about.

1/ You still have the plastic film cover on the display.
2/ If you really want to prove that you have the phone, take a picture with the phone and today's newspaper.

Personally I don't really care. I think it's entirely feasible that UPS/FedEx would accidentally deliver a package in their possession despite the "don't deliver before Friday" instruction.

I could also see Apple deciding to allow UPS/FedEx to deliver early so that they don't have as large of a logistical problem on Friday. Assuming the back-end stuff is ready (IOS 8, iCloud, etc), why not...

"Wow when did verizon start using UPS. Must have hit their max fedex load lol"

I was wondering about that, if it might happen. You all saw that story about how Apple was shipping so much volume that they had clogged China's shipping capacity, squeezing out other manufacturers? Some of the problem might not just be inventory, but carrier's shipping capacity. Really crazy!
