rMBP 2013 is now on refurb store and look at
Available to ship: 30 business days

looks like we gonna see haswell rMBP in exactly 30 days or so :)
30 business days which is around Tuesday September 17th (depends whether or not you include today). If you do not include today or labor day it comes out to be Wednesday September 18. Doesn't apple like to release things on Wednesdays..?

So 650M performs 91.6% better (41 versus 21 fps)? Where did you take your math exam

21 is about 41 divided by two. How can that ever be a 91% difference?

(41-21)/41 = 0,4878 = 48,78%......

He is right, it all depends from which was you choose to look at it.

Yes, there is roughly a 50% difference but look at it this way.

If Iris Pro is at 21fps, it would need to improve its fps by another 20fps to match 650m

so 21fps + 95% of 21 ~ 41fps.

 my screen shows: Available to ship: Out of stock

and just curious.. how do you determine that this indicates when the haswell rmbp's are gonna be available? i mean i truly hope you're right, as i don't think i can wait til october.

I would like to know as well, how does the early 2013 rMBP showing up in the refurb store indicate a near future release of the Haswell rMBPs?

Ah, nice find. The 2013 rMBPs weren't available in the refurb store before?

Estimated shipping date is September 20 ;)

How do you figure September 20?

Reader since page 60, first time poster. Waiting for Haswell for work, limping along with a 2010 pro with a faulty logic board, no wifi and no battery...

Sad to say there are no 2013 rMBPs in the Aus refurb store yet. Does this mean Aus won't get Haswell

I don't know much about apple's international habits, but I doubt that has enough meaning to come to that conclusion.

Yeah it doesn't.

My link says 1-5 business days for shipping on the 15.4 retina macbook pro.

False alarm, the shipping time of the refurb has nothing to do with haswell

If you check that link, I think you'll find it's the mid 2012 retina, not the early 2013 they are discussing

Hahah I know, and I know we will get it, just trying to take the speculation to the next level :D

Is it too early to start making pricing/specs predictions ?

My very early proposal:

13in rMBP - start at $1500

CPU-something similar to the 4750HQ except with Iris 5300. Quadcore ~2.0ghz.
Ram- 8gb 1600mhz or 1866mhz??
GPU- only iGPU -5300- performance slightly weaker than 650m
Display - same
SSD - start at 256gb (how much would they charge for a 512/768 upgrade ?)
FaceTime camera up to 1080 from 720
Same wifi and ssd speed upgrades that were in the air
Battery life - 15 hours? With mavericks and haswell?
Thickness - .71 down from .75

13in rMBP - $1700 model
Faster CPU
512gb ssd
16gb Ram??
There is 0 chance of dGPU in the 13s right?

15in rMBP - starting at $2000? Down from $2200

CPU- something similar to 4850/4950HQ with Iris 5300? ~2.3ghz?
Ram - starting at 16gb? Maybe not. Just 8gb. 1600mhz or 1866mhz?
GPU - GeForce 760M or 765M?
SSD - 512gb (any idea how much 768/1TB upgrades would cost ?)
FaceTime camera up to 1080p
Same wifi and ssd upgrades that were in the air refresh
Battery Life - 15 hours ?

15in rMBP - $2500 model? From $2700
Faster CPU - 2.5ghz
SSD - 768gb
Ram - 16gb
GPU - Would GeForce 770M / 780M be a possibility ? I know wishful thinking.

I am completely just making educated guesses here, I am probably very off in a lot of areas. But I just want to hear what more people think so I can get a better idea of what I will be buying a month from now.

You realize those are insane predictions and won't happen, right?

13-inch rMBP will have the 5100 GPU and dual-core. No way will it get 15 hours battery life, the Air even only gets 12. We will be lucky to see a boost to 9 hours. And I don't see Apple offering 256GB storage as standard.

How would the 13inch have 5100 and dualcore?
Those are only offered in ultrabook CPUs. Which the rMBP would have a regular mobile CPU right?

Also shouldn't the pro have more battery life that the air? It has more space. And last gen pros had more battery life than last gen airs

You don't think apple will upgrade the SSD? They did with the air refresh. I just figured they would do the same with the pros

The retina screen takes 2-3x more power than the Air screen, which hurts a lot.

The rMBP also presumably has to use a higher wattage processor, so it will not have as substantial of a savings compared to the Air.

Yea I see.

So you think about 9 hours on both models?

Ofcourse will be less when using the dGPU.

Side Question: right now the MBA is at 9 hours and 12 hours. With mountain lion. When mavericks releases with increased battery life. Will the air have even longer battery life? Will Apple change the specs to reflect mavericks battery life?
