There was no reason for the Apple Store to go down with the announcement of the iPhone's so there is still a glimmer of hope!

I don't see how this is a fail. All indications said that it was an iphone event , if anything it would have been a possible ipad update aswell but no chance of the mbprs. it was expected

Anyone who was expecting a refresh TODAY may have missed an important point: There was nearly zero chance of a refresh being announced or released today, even if you believe in a Sept refresh.

We're still well within the return period for most of the sales made during the BTS event. The earliest date possible for a silent refresh would be 15 days after the end of the BTS sale, or Sept 21.

In reality that's not super likely either, but refreshing when everyone could run back and return their BTS purchase was never going to happen for any reason.

This is a very bold statement. I doubt Windows will be dead or moribund any time soon or if at all.

At all??? Nothing lasts forever. With the exception of IBM, every computer company I knew as a teenager is now out of business.
