Dell has announced their updated precision line (M4800/M6800). Orders start this week and include Haswell. They likely need far less inventory than Apple but these chips are starting to come out of hiding. Can't be too long now.

This October is going to be absolutely packed to the brim with updates... rMBP, iMac, Pro, iPads, OS X, jeez. Would've been better to get a couple more things out of the way this September IMO.

Nothing of macbooks, here is a little more practical to wait for the new macbooks 2014, because the processors arrive outdated. It's nearly four months since the launch of Haswells.

The iPhone 5crap is a joke. $ 100 cheaper than the iPhone 5S which is superior in everything.

The iPhone 5s is very perfect, hope to arrive in Brazil to buy.

Silver Lining

Let's look at the bright side here folks: the drive for 1000 is still alive and well!

Maybe it's time we re-examined this whole "iGPU vs dGPU" issue...? :p

I got the refurb rMBP 15 2.3GHz in today. LG's first screen + lagginess + not a huge jump from my old Dell WLED 1080p screen in terms of image quality. Returning this.

I just ordered the Macbook Air 2012 i7 2.0GHz 8GB/256GB refurb. I will use this until the Haswell rMBPs hit the refurb stores. This should give me sufficient time to see if the initial issues have been ironed out with the Haswell rMBPs + get me some good prices from the refurb store.

Got sick of waiting. :(

Oh well, excited about the Macbook Air!

I guess am happy for selling my 2012 max out rMBP and getting a mint (9 cycles) max out 2012 13 inch rMBP, love the smaller size and weight and its awesome screen !

That one will have do for a while

I also have a 4, but I replaced the battery for $30 a couple weeks ago in order to keep it usable until the 6 arrives next year -- I'm betting on a larger screen, and don't want to waste my AT&T contract renewal discount on a 5S.

I'm one of those who doesn't want a larger screen, in fact am hesitant to get one larger than the 4, but my phone is having problems beyond battery life.

Wait 14 days and we might see a silent refresh in the Apple Store.
If it is just a processor upgrade it would certainly make sense. The October event is going to be packed otherwise (pretty much the entire Mac lineup refreshed, new iPads, OS X and possibly a new Apple TV).

We got an iPhone 5C and 5S, they dropped the iPhone 5, ios 7 is out September 18th, and basically all the rumors were true regarding the 5C, fingerprint sensor and hfr camera

They can't Mavericks update go by just like that. I have a feeling they're going to attribute battery life increase to Mavericks in addition to Haswell.

So early on the morning of September 24th we'll be refreshing the Apple Store site. Like we don't all do this every day anyway ;) Seems like a nice lull to have a silent update. Hope it's the big day.

Didn't some analyst said that Apple is going to have 3 events in the fall:

Early September, Late September and Late October.

Maybe Late September is for the refreshing products and October for the all new devices...

Late September might be the iPad 5/ iPad mini 2 launch.

Thanks, I after I posted the comment, I started reading about the event, but I didn't hear anything about iOS 7 coming September 18th, so thanks for that.
