This thread is too funny!
This thread is just so interesting for psychologists and social scientists.
It's just a cycle of Kübler-Ross models. Starting all over again, every time again.
Right now, we're back in the Denial phase. We all know no new MacBook is coming today, but we won't accept it. Hell, we're even euphoric about the fact that we're sure there will be one today.
Tonight, it will be Anger all over the place.
Then we will start Bargaining. "Maybe they're waiting for a new display. That's actually good! Good Apple! Oh boy, am I happy they didn't announce it before." - "But maybe they can also include Thunderbolt 2 while they're at it"
Then the Depression again. "I WANT MY MACBOOK NOW! I'M SO UN-MACBOOKY RIGHT NOW!"
And finally the Acceptance. "We won't be seeing a new MacBook this year, I guess."
(and then, when we least expect it, they'll release)
(I'm in the Wishful thinking phase)
Is possible apple release today mac mini, next week new iPad and 15th the rMBP
May be?
If there is a release today I think it's a bigger chance it's the Mac Mini rather than rMBP, but time will tell!
less than 3 hours till we're disappointed!
May - WWDC next month! Here it comes
June - Dammit Apple! Not released at WWDC, nor following week
July - Dammit Apple! Not stealth released at Financial Call
August - The Great Wait *grow beards*
September - BTS ended! It's coming next month
October -![]()
Isn't the mini now being produced in the states? Would of thought that would be announced w/ the Pro or at least get some event time as that's definitely something they will want to make a big deal about.
Today is the day!
Macrumors' predictions:
- energy-efficient Haswell processors (incl. Iris Graphics)
- PCI-e based flash storage
- 802.11ac Gigabit Wi-Fi
- 2.0-megapixel 1080p FaceTime cameras
Nothing huge, just an incremental step. A silent update today is possible. More likely is the event option still. Or Apple plays the "we don't care about low revenue share"-card and updates the rMBP in 2014. Impossible? No, they also did it with other products in the past.
Shouldn't the apple store go down a bit before the announcment?
